New Squier Hello Kitty Guitars

I saw this guitar at my local dealer today.

They differ slightly from the originals. The "Hello Kitty" on the back of the guitar is different style, it's a glossy neck and a matching pink headstock with logo on the end.

They retail under $500.00

If you search Fenders website for Hello Kitty ...

Re: pictures of your gear here

I came across a great deal on a POG2 and added it to the board.

The POG2 would fit in the space, but was too wide to allow the cables to be connected.

Re: NGD - Gretsch 6137 White Panther

I got the White Panther all cleaned up and setup.

I swapped out the stock Bigsby arm for a Chet Atkins Wire Arm and installed a Vibramate to make restringing easier.

New strings from StringJoy.

Awesome! Looks great. Your main pedalboard looks amazing.

How do you like the 1981 LVL and the Lex? I’ve toyed with getting both at some stage.

Re: NGD - Squier Paranormal Jazzmaser XII

Nice! Dig the Fiesta, I almost bought one in that color when they were the only color on sale direct from Fender. When I bought mine it was just the blue and white (the Sherwood one with matching headstock is also a good look, but also sadly not on sale)

And agreed with the pickups...right now I ...

NGD - Gretsch 6137 White Panther

I have been seeing some amazing deals on FB Marketplace.

I sold one of my other guitars and was able to pickup this Gretsch White Panther from 2013.

This guitar was part of the 130 anniversary and was made in Japan.

Gretsch kinda marketed these guitars at the 335 crowd, hence the right angled ...

Re: pictures of your gear here

I just put together an amp shelf for my smaller amps.

My Epiphone Electra EA26-RVT amp is at the repair shop, but my Gibson GA-15RVT is back from repair.

I also made an overflow pedalboard with my extra pedals.

Re: NGD - Squier Paranormal Jazzmaser XII

I absolutely love mine.

I swapped out the pickguard for brown tort and the pickups for EPCustom Jazzmaster pickups. (stock pickups are pretty hot)

I shimmed the neck and raised the saddles. I went with Stringjoy strings.

It plays as easy as any of my six string guitars and stays in tune.

Re: Squier cv orange comp mustang

Just got it in. It is beautiful and the neck profile is great. Fretboard is really dry so needs some oil. Guessing its the pauo stuff (Didnt even look). But seems to play well without a setup. Need to get my head around the switches and everything as I have never owned a mustang. IN any case it ...

It actually says "Synchromatic" which eventually became the Electromatic series.

The later versions were labeled Electromatic before it was discontinued.

Re: Soft Reboot of my Squier FSR Jaguar

Fender sound and feel for half the price. I see at *amber* people mod Squier Jags and JMs with top shelf parts, turning them into banging guitars

Exactly. I also really like the Sparkle finish with the matching headstock.

Re: Soft Reboot of my Squier FSR Jaguar

Thanks.

I am getting some weird static-type sounds when I am on the lead circuit on both pickups. The static is not there on the rhythm Circuit or with other guitars.

I will pull off the switch panel tomorrow and make sure all the connections are solid.

Soft Reboot of my Squier FSR Jaguar

I picked up this Squier FSR Silver Sparkle Jaguar back in April. I had swapped out the Vibrato for an AVRI Vibrato and did a general setup.

I decided the pickups were just not cutting it and purchased a set of EP Custom Jaguar pickups that came in today. I also wanted to change the overall look of ...

Re: Old Gretsch Synchromatic Junior Jet

One time I bought one at Guitar Center used for $250….it was the fancier red sparkle bigsby model with 2 pickups…might have been a thinline IIRC. I had some instant buyers remorse, especially since one of the tuner keys snapped off on the drive home, so I returned it. But it seemed a decent enough ...

Thanks. Will see how the bridge/etc is and if it needs updated.

Im good with the color combo as it is for now.. how were the pickups?

They were fine. I didn't feel a need to change them. I only changed out the Vibrato and kept the stock bridge.

I was able to setup the guitar with .11s and ...

Re: Squier cv orange comp mustang

I loved my regular CV Mustang when I had it.

I only sold it because I didn't care for the thin neck behind the 1st fret.

Replace the stock vibrato with a Fender one and get some black pickup covers and you are set.
