Nah he's had this one for a while now. I think it might even be the/an original prototype. Love the color.

Re: 1964 Mustang custom order Candy Apple Red, no documentation?
That's just a load of bullshit.
CAR came with white guards. Mustang was an entry level student guitar, the "custom" model would've been the Jaguar.
And, above all, if anything, there would be at least some SPECIAL marking/stamp under the pickguard.
So no, I say no way.

Re: pictures of your shortscales
Thanks guys! Yeah that's a competition blue Mustang turned green but i'm pretty sure it's a refin. very VERY well done. Maybe even at the factory? There's so many weird things about that guitar (got it in Mexico, as usual...). I believe the fretboard has been changed, too, but my guitar guy says no,...

...I heard Bronco and thought, hm, it's time for an update pic. Missing are the Squier Bullet Mustang, Squier contemporary Jaguar, my other Jarman and the 1975(?) Jaguar. http://i.postimg.cc/FK3LQ70X/20220402-201556.jpg http://i.postimg.cc/x8xkPHVM/20220402-202522.jpg http://i.postimg.cc/SQDzq0YR/20...

Re: ONGD Strat Plus Deluxe
That's one of the guitars I still want to own some day. I believe it's just because of Ed, who used to play guitar in Monster Magnet. I love the way the Lace pickups look. But man they've been getting expensive. I'd like one with a nicely aged/worn maple board and a white/mint guard. And big fries, ...

Re: Jaguar setup for beginners
Gosh that black Jag just looks wonderful. Nice that you even Squier'd the headstock! Well my Jag. I love its looks. But, even after shimming and all, it "hums" ghost notes behind the bridge, constantly. I'm using 11-52 strings btw. The vibrato tailpiece is shit and squeaky - I knew I'd wan...

Re: Jaguar setup for beginners
Thanks man, that was worth my time. I got one of them Andertons purple Jags and I do have to say that I absolutely hate it. Everything. I've been playing Jags for over 20 years now but I hate this one. Still, good info and I'll keep trying to fix it, somehow. God I even got a buzzstop for it. Anyway...

Thanks to Rob I ordered one impulsively o. Sunday, and it arrived today... I was really really NOT in the need of another guitar, even less a brand new one. Even more so since I already own an original issue black Toronado! But at €249 w/ free shipping I couldn't resist. And maaan I'm pretty d...
