This past week I started up a new blog called Everything Rock! Its going to cover quite a bit of stuff - videos, music reviews, underground music finds, gear demos, etc. Here's the link http://www.everythingrockandroll.com. If you want me to pimp your band or your gear demos just let me know.

Squier VM Jag - Bridge Buzzing

So, I know a lot of people have replaced the VM Jaguar bridges with Mustang Bridges or TOMs and Buzz Stops but I was wondering if there was anything I could do with what I have. It doesn't matter how light I play really it's buzzy as shit. Other than that she plays great but yea, its just irritating.

NGD: VM Jag

Got this gal on Friday but hadn't had time over the weekend to post it. Changed the strings from 9s to 10s and she plays great. There is some string buzz on the high e, b but I haven't been able to fully set it up yet. Overall it sounds good and plays pretty darn smooth. For 250$ new man they make s...

Thin and Wide, my least favorite combination. I really enjoy the MIM 22.7" Duos but didn't care for the CV series Duo nearly as much.

Best of the new VM Line?

Yea, so, my local shop and local GCs aren't carrying the new VM Squier guitars (jag, jazz, mustang) which totally sucks. I've seen some reviews on here and a few other sites but nothing that pits all of the models against each other. Out of the Jag, Jazz, and Mustang does one stand out more than the...

What Guitar do you wish you still had?

A couple years back I traded away my Jaguar HH to Haze. Killer guitar and probably the only trade/sale I regret when it comes to guitars.

A very cozy 9'x11' place, but is just right for the work I do.

What kind of chair is that? Looks comfy.

I prefer 8" speakers because of the bass response. I've had HSM50s and I liked them but didn't love them. The 80s are a great pair of monitors though. The last pair I've owned are the Sonodyne SM50AK. They were only 5.25" but man do they rock.

Running JJ and Tung-Sols in mine and I dig it. I've always wanted to change out the Greenback to a Blue just to see if it really is the be all end all but never wanted to shell out the money. Anyone else change their C1 speaker and find a "better" match?

I had the CB30 and I wasn't thoroughly impressed with it as I have been with other Catalinbread pedals. I know people love the Viper so I'm sure that'll help out when cascading that in to the CB30 circuit in the Galileo. I still prefer the real thing though. If all you need is overdriven tones could...

Electronic Drum Set on a Budget

Is there such a thing? Not much of a drummer but I hate using loops so I figured why not make my self get a little better and record via an electronic set. Any recommendations?

I normally use an AI but my buddy uses the icicle with his SM58 and he has gotten some really nice guitar/vocal recordings. Apogee iMic is cool though.

What AI are you using? Dig the Yamaha monitors in the setup and the low end mics do a nice job, great stuff. Also, that Jet City seems to get pretty nice and heavy. How are the cleans on that thing, any good?

Guy seems to be open to a lot of trades. Not sure he'd deal outside of the local area but wanted to post this at least.

Jag/Stang/Duo Pickup Specs

Does anyone know of any good sources on the net listing the specs of vintage Jag/Stang/Duo pups? I'm looking to get more serious about pickup building and would like to try my hand at a few of these. Let me know if you know of any good sites.

Thanks!

Not sure if I can pimp this site?

Why? Because it's a forum I created around Vox Amp owners. Still under construction but usable right now.
