Re: What is your oddball color choice to go with a mint green pickguard?

I have a 78 Walnut Musatang with a mint PG. it's amazing.
So come this fall, my schedule is opening up, and I have a few projects on deck. One of which is a Strat kit that my wife got me for my upcoming birthday. Since I have a prewired mint PG ...

What is your oddball color choice to go with a mint green pickguard?
What is your oddball color choice to go with a mint green pickguard? I'm looking for ideas, as I have a MG Strat pickguard waiting to be used.

Re: Fender Bronco History
On one of my old computers I have CAD models for a couple replacement pieces for the Bronco trem that would block the trem. It would still let you dive, but you couldn't pull up. THis also gave the feature of being able to remain in tune if you break a string. If not, I can remodel it from mostly ...

Re: The ultimate list of cheap copies of great pedals thread!
Ah, here it is, my Dollar Store Board. I needed a (sorta) flight rig for a show that was backline provided, but usually gave us not good amps for my hardcore band at the time. So I wanted to be able to get a halfway good sound for little money. All prices are from time of purchase,

Re: Hardluck Kings Spider(s)
Just wondering Mez- did you find out if Kim went for the pro-setup option when she bought them? They offer that as an additional cost- wondering if that’s why they were so nice out of the box or if it’s just standard
Either way they both look great, I think I prefer the evolution of the shape on ...

HLK really does appeal to the Bloos Construction Worker, as opposed to the Bloos Lawyer set.Freddy V-C wrote: Sun Jul 02, 2023 6:46 pm Yeah these are waaay more tasteful than I remember HLK guitars being. A beautiful pair!!

Re: The ultimate list of cheap copies of great pedals thread!
I've been using one of those Kmise Crunch Distortions for a bit now. Basically I wanted to build what I called a dollar store pedal board. Ryan from 60 Cycle Hum tested one and said it was like a shitty Rat clone. They sound like a Rat, but don't clean up like Rats do when you back the gain off. He ...

Hardluck Kings Spider(s)
So for gigging with my band Sons of Ghidorah, I've been using these Hardluck Kings Spiders. The dude seems kind of like a troll/asshat, but his clearance section was interesting to look at. He had this ugly olive green one, and the price was changing every day. One day $109, the next $169, up and ...

So yeah, when I wrote that, it was one of the rare times when I had a few beers. So it seemed like a funny idea to name the project file Tymn's Buttocks (singer). Hahaha, well the buttocks part never went away, set lists and emails and what not. So when we sent them off, Tymn was all like, "I don't ...

What's up with that mute switch? I got my girlfriend a hagstrom 1 bass and the mute switch seems to be a bass cut switch. Doesn't mute anything for me.
It cuts output (so yeah, bass). It's like a 9k resistor or something. I wired one into an old Duo Sonic years ago. Fun, but I ended up not using ...
