Is that a humbucker for guitar or bass? Do you think it makes a difference? I'm wondering what to put in my Bronco.

The most important thing I've ever lost during a gig was a bass player. But I refuse to carry a spare one!

I've had a SD 'Hot' in the bridge and a Quarter Pound in the neck, but the QP is far to big and muddy for me, I wouldn't recomend it, at least in the neck.

Hey, I don't know if you've seen, but there is a Squier Duo-Sonic on Gumtree for £100, its old than the current CVs, but looks cooler I reckon.
I'd love it, but I don't need it.

That bass has loads of style, neck looks great. I'd do the minimum to sort it out. Very cool.

That looks great, well done. I'm desperate to do the same thing on a bronco I've seen in the local pawn shop. Just scraping the cash together.

I think you've got a great strategy of starting with the raw materials of something that will be beautiful; as default! One of my problems has been trying to be too clever; over complicate things with 'originality' and desire, and then get depressed and give up when its not what I thought it could b...

If anyone is interested in the wiring, the 3 lower switches are on/off for the pups, like a Cyclone I guess. but the upper switch puts the neck&middle in series like a humbucker, which is cool. Although its not a separate circuit, coz I've not connected the upper vol&tone to it yet, but i th...
