Re: My first Jaguar (teh kurtz)
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b226/rlm2112/DSC00015.jpg is this a stock shim? Imagine what this card piece will be worth in 50 years :D This guitar is kinda the best of both worlds, to me. I don't like it personally because of the flat radius and the little trem action, but it sounds really goo...

Would you change the pickups and wiring for ascetic or sound reasons? sorry, i know this will make me look like an ANAL BAWBAG but the word you're thinking of is 'aesthetic'. i only mention it because i've seen the word ascetic in threads a few times recently and it always makes me think of monks s...

Congratulations! Always exciting to break in a new guitar, even if it's just new to you. The classic player series is great and is far above standard mim instruments in my experience. I would put regular jag pickups in it and wire it back to vintage specs but that's just me, but if you like all of ...

My first Jaguar (teh kurtz) Now a "real" Jagstang
I've wanted a Jaguar since I started playing guitar in 97, but the high prices, and fact that I was in junior high prevented me from getting one. I'm now 26, and I finally got one. It's A 2008 Classic Player HH MIM. I have been very against getting a MIM Fender since getting an American strat in 200...

i use a american standard strat, a jagstang, a cv duosonic or a cyclone. My amp is a marshall jtm45 . It goes to a old orangebox with 4 g12h speakers . I also use a sovtek big muff and a boss od2 . But for really crunchy sounds, the ds1 works best. For the ones who believe to vodoo: My ds1 is made ...

Do it. I fixed on of the old violins I got from my grandma's attic recently. Spent about $60 including a bow. It's fun to mess with. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b226/rlm2112/IMG_0070.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b226/rlm2112/IMG_0075.jpg http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b226/rlm2112/...

I used to have a pre-lawsuit one like this, and i'm still kicking myself for getting rid of it. This might be a good place to ask about how much it's worth.

Fuck that seller. That guitar has been on ebay for as long as I can remember. The weird thing is he has had the same guitars for sale for all that time... you'd think that the fact that he hasn't sold one in a decade would be a clue for him to lower his prices below the threshold of lunacy. This Br...
