Re: Squier cv orange comp mustang (edited 4 pics)
So. Black pup covers and trem bits, some pil on that dry ass fretboard, and a new set of Daddario NYC 11-49s (may go heavier) and much better. Though im still going to take it for a full setup...
Question will be afterwards if i want a pickup swap but right now i think im ok there.

Re: SoCal Amp repair?
We just parted ways a few months.ago. my guess is they will be pricey but if they.can do it they will get it done right. We split on amicable but weird terms. Not aure a name drop would be helpful. .

Re: Squier cv orange comp mustang
Both the Strat and the Mustang look really nice. thanks. Squier has been making some really nice looking stuff lately and as always, a few upgrades (not always even necessary) gives you killer guitars. I have 300 into the mustang and about 450 I think into the strat with a complete pup swap/wiring ...

Re: Squier cv orange comp mustang
Just got it in. It is beautiful and the neck profile is great. Fretboard is really dry so needs some oil. Guessing its the pauo stuff (Didnt even look). But seems to play well without a setup. Need to get my head around the switches and everything as I have never owned a mustang. IN any case it will...

Re: Pedalboard modellers: Whats your pick?
if ur a nostalgia nerd maybe you'd like this but tbh at this point if the installer.msi doesn't immediately blow me while installing the software then its a 6/10 at best. this is good intel as -- after spending a king's ransom on pedals the last few years and getting tempted to go down the GigRig r...

Re: Pedalboard modellers: Whats your pick?
Are you looking to use it as amp as well? How much of a signal tinkerer are you? The headrush was pretty fun and pretty easy to use. Ive had the fractal fm3 and now have the fender tonemaster pro. Fractal wins for tones and fender hands down for usability/user flow.. but those are a ways over your p...

Re: SoCal Amp repair?
it's a dying art, especially in SoCal in my experience. i've still yet to get my marshall up to Orange County to the one authorized repair shop within 90 minutes of here (the one in Riverside closed, and the North County San Diego guy said he couldn't work on it). Mickie, if you've got a guy, i'm a...

Re: First song recorded with our current band
Giving it a listen now. Sounds. Id bump the bass just a tad (not a ton) but could be my speakers as they are not that great. Cool song, cool voice. Good mix of guitar work. Sounds funny but my wife is a dance teacher and loves doing modern/lyrical dances to this type music and the dynamics of it are...
