Re: Advice re: microphonic feedback?

doog's and nick's ideas scan for me as possibilities. i had a strat that was terrible for going microphonic, and it did end up being the pickups. emg's took care of that, but they're not for everyone (even me anymore).

Re: What is your favourite SG style model?

same colleague who gave me the pedals a couple months ago is gifting me his custom SG he got in the early 90s now. haven't seen it yet, but it was apparently heavily modified and gunmetal gray w/ duncan humbuckers. should be interesting...

Every Christmas Story Every Told (And Then Some)

as i mentioned in a thread/zoom call weeks back, i am recurring my role from our local theatre's 2018 production of "Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some)" which opens this Friday, November 19 at 8PM. there are some covid-related restrictions, so click here for those details as w...

Re: new EHX harmoniser

that's resultant of the respective r&d teams' motivations as much as anything, i would think. roland has been trying to faithfully recreate sound for musicians, so they're going to take a different approach than a video game company trying to create an experience for gamers.

with all the re-issues, fender still can't do a trew bronco because of that crazy-ass bridge.

Re: Banners?

the YOUR LOGO HERE with the guy and a guitar are an image (banner), but the way those are called up in the new code is different. so configuring a way to quickly rotate those images like it was before will require some overhead. the ShortScale.org Since 2006 bit is just text that can be configured e...

Re: Banners?

Banners are coming back, but they may take some time. The old code was setup like a traditional, static web page whereas the new version relies on style sheets. The programmers intentionally meant for aesthetics to be preset by the style designers, so junkbox has to hack something together in order ...

lovely color. i've always dug the aesthetics of the sg. the problem is when i pick one up, it never feels right to me. i don't know if it's the thin body, the neck, the combination of the two, but it just doesn't hug me bag like a mustang does. i've tried it a few times over the years, thinking this...

plugged in and tested them all, and they mostly work great. the only one i'm ify on is the TS-10 as it was a little tricky to get the hang of turning it off and on when on carpet and unless using a light tap to (de)activate. once i put it on a hard surface, though, it was more reliable. i'll open up...

If its free or cheap you should snag the lot. that's what i'm trying to find out -- how much he's willing to part with and for how much. i just ran numbers on a couple of them, and wow. not my motivation for picking any of them up, but he could turn a s...
