Fender needs Vintera Competition Mustangs yesterday. http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/squier-squier-classic-vibe-60s-competition-mustang-capri-orange-w-dakota-red-stripe-0374078582-293988...

Re: Fender Bronco History

you're not the first i've heard say the bronco bridge is their favorite, and it's a shame with bona fides like that and the popularity of the guitar antiquity won't prompt fender to do a proper reissue. since it only ever landed on one model of guitar the molds, templates, and forges may have been l...

Re: Fender Bronco History

picking up a bronco is still a bucket list item for me. i've given up on the idea of building one as buying the intact bridges separately is almost impossible at this point. i do have legit bronco knobs, though.

Re: pictures of your shortscales

God, the Prisonstang - my white whale. Didn't it originally belong to Rodvonbon (or how was that?)? Rodvonbon had it circa 2008, then Mezzio, then Shad. Been waiting until I get it fully sorted before making its own thread for it, but this is how it looks now - hopefully I haven't ruined the mojo :...

the teles look better than the jazzmasters, but the jazzmasters look better than the jazz basses. i love jazz basses usually.

plopswagon wrote: Fri Dec 30, 2022 2:47 am I remember reading something about how most the 64’s were “A” width necks. I think once all that stock was used up between the Mustangs and Duo Sonics and Musicmasters they didn’t do many more. I think all 22.5 necks are A width.

aug's '64 mustang was an A width 22.5

Re: 20-40w tube amps - what do we like SS?

if you can find one at a price point you like, the fender prosonic has 30w, 50w, and 60w modes (classes A, AB, and AB SS respectively). the TL;DR version is the amp is (over)designed to be a versatile, rugged workhorse since you can blow your tubes and still run it solid state -- might be spendy, th...
