I have a GFS WRHP in the bridge position of my Barclay hollow body and it's an amazing pickup....I can't attest to how close it is to the original but it sounds great.....very quacky - a nice upper mids spike. Anyway, I reccomend them....especiallly for the price

QUESTION: I'm going to go ahead and use GFS Pro-Tube lipsticks, and according to the site, they'll fit a Strat with no mods, which means I can use a standard Fender single-coil template for the pickguard. Now for the question: I don't what screwholes/screws fucking up the look of the guard, so I wa...

Yeah, Warmoth doesn't do blocks on their short scale necks. Cool, I'll cruise E-bay, when I have the money.

who does necks?

Who does necks around here.

I'm talking

maple/rosewood neck
Blocked and bound with MOP
24" scale w/ a 7-1/4" radius
Large CBS headstock
and B profile.
20 frets.

If anyone does this kind of stuff, how much would it cost?

I think it could well turn out great, and I hope it does. It might not be something as universally appealling as a normal wooden jazzy, but who wants to be normal. I reckon you should do it, just for the sake of having a cool guitar with sounds and style that you can't get anywhere else. I think th...

I'm pretty sure (you can ask him about it, or he'll chime in) he's going to make a mold and it's just going to be a fiberglass frame with a pine middle block. It should be interesting. Fiberglass is supposed to be super bright and super resonant. At least as a semi-hollow body.
