Small clone in front of a shin-ei fuzz wah. When the chorus is at the bottom of it's waveform, it trips out the upper octaves of the fuzz, making wonderful bzzzzyyyyeeeepooooooooowwwwww noises

I think the way the guitar is constructed makes a much bigger difference to the plugged in sound than the type of wood. It does seem like every basswood guitar i've had has had issues with shit like the strap buttons and bridges pulling out of the wood. and we all know the what happens if you breath...

damn, that scalloping is obscenely deep.
I guess some people are too neoshredical to just bend notes across the fret or have the desire to play chords in tune. I wonder how doing that affects the stability and strength of the neck....

Has anyone else tried the Zvex instant lo-fi junky? I just got one the other day and haven't played guitar without it since. It's like a mellotron, boards of canada, black moth super rainbow, a bunch of bong resin and some nostalgia in a box. It's supposed to sound like you're playing on an old reco...

my old guitar teacher had one of those in sunburst that was almost completely worn off on the back of the body and neck. He played a lot of shreddy prog type stuff on it, and sounded totally badass. Doing divebombs and other wankery with a old bigsby equipped hollowbody seems so much cooler than pla...

I really dig the hollowbody one, but I would dig it 99 times more if there was binding around the f hole, and perhaps elsewhere.

Sounds good. This is the first time i've heard a multi effect where the wah doesn't sound like an afterthought. I wonder If the amp/speaker sims are defeat-able for running straight into an amp? I like that it doesn't look toyish either. Would be cool if it had a looper, but I guess that would be to...

Talkbass is like 50/50 between 6 string coffee tablers and old dude bar banders whose answer to all of life's questions is a P-bass with flats (just like the motown dude!) that provides a sound thats inaudible enough so that their ego cant be heard over their weekend warrior cover of "Mississip...

There's something about bass players. Despite being the lynchpin about which the group smoothly spins - if they have it in them - and despite there being plenty of fine-looking 'classic' basses available to suit pretty much any budget, the bass player who fancies himself rotten always seems to grav...

90's proco big box Rat. It's the sound I tried to get out of every other dirt pedal i've had, and works well when playing with a full band.

Wow, I really like the look of that. Usually there's at least one thing that bugs me about all of the blacktop/modern player guitars, but I can't think of a thing I'd change.
As fender describes it, it's both "alluring" and "sultry."

When I had a classic player jag, I'd stick a strip of fake fur under the strings behind the bridge. Worked perfectly. Made me look like I killed something. Bitches love a man who can kill something.

Extension cab, but that might bump the weight factor up too much. I thought vox made ac-15s with a 2x12 for a while. that would weigh slightly less than an ac-30. You could also try something like a peavey classic 30. I think those have el-84s like the vox
