This looks brilliant. Those I/O options and being able to create your own patterns via USB is huge.

Ah, same ballpark. Was hoping that it might be indicative of what's coming up.

Re: Things to do with Chocolate

Either way, the UNO2 chip can't be hard to make, I'd have thought. An opportunity for a cottage industry? It would be pretty fucking cottage, there's not many of us left still using FCB1010s, but still, Brexit bonanza all the same.

Re: The ultimate list of cheap copies of great pedals thread!

I always wanted a Bi Phase because of Siamese Dream, so don't know why I never picked one of these up, possibly because of pedal board real estate and the fact that the M13 already has a "Dual Phase" which is based on it.

I've used the Arturia plugin before and it was great.

Haha, I don't think I was anticipating the swimming pool route to be quite so swimming pooley.

I think my tastes are getting more traditionalist, which is disappointing. I used to like cool stuff.

Re: Surfpine Wavecaster

That looks great. I really like the brass screws. I'd be tempted to diverge even more from typical Fenderishness and go for gold speedknobs.

I'd also want to wire it like an Esquire, but that's because I like switches and stuff.

Re: I got some new stuff over the last year or 2 and have no idea if I have posted them

I've had high frets on cheap guitars before and I've usually sorted it by putting something to protect the neck (an off cut of wood, or even a book) over the fret and firmly tapping it with something heavy.

That could be cool. Or, even better, they could all end up being insufferable bellends that you get to slag off to your CHUNK/Damaged Goods pals, which is half the fun of being in a band in a scene anyway.

It is essentially an office to be honest, haha, so not exactly the most rock and roll environment. It kind of looks like a classroom, in fact, so maybe that's what's freaking you out!

100% this.

Simultaneous anxiety about not being able to find the beat and trying to explain to the HR person ...

Haha, yeah, that looks really weird to me and I think it's the natural light.

Re: 20 watt valve combo for home/live use.

I'd have thought so, with the caveat that it depends on the size venue, depends if you need crystal cleans (which I assume you don't if you're playing a Marshall in the first place), and it depends on the sound reinforcement available.

I'd expect 20 watts valve to be pretty loud, and if you needed ...

Lovely. That neck nearly looks like roast maple?

I've read good things about the pickups. £250 is an absolute steal!

Re: Some New FSR Squiers

Lovely things, but the price is too high. I know that it's not 2007 anymore, but I can't get used to Squier's being this price.

I have a modest pile of birthday money that I've saved from a couple of birthdays/Christmasseses and I'm about to make a purchase in the next month or two. I'm sort of ...
