It's good to hear from you, man! Thanks for the kind words, I'll be checking out that track you namechecked 👌 edit: ooh yeah, very Tom Waits/Krusty The Clown haunted circus, nice! I'm trying to get into writing more kinda old spooky Eastern European folk, will hopefully take it somewhere a ...

Where the hell have YOU been?!
You know, just doing that old man thing. I always peek my head in when Squire does something interesting. I watched your demo today, so the least I could do was leave a note and check out your new tunes.

The examples related to what I think you called "the sympathetic vibrations" the Jaguar produces were well done and enlightening.

Side note: Your latest EP has a cool vibe and reminded me of The Man on the Burning Tightrope by Firewater.

I went with a kid who was new at guitar. He was dead set on this guitar. I told him the used MIM strat was a better value for the same price. He didn't listen. He ended up purchasing a MIM fender strat next year when he came to visit. These things had a hard time staying in tune and the tone wasn't ...

That's nice! Love the F-stamp Bigsby setup on Teles, hell of a deal for a guitar that's had so much money poured into it. It seems to have been converted to vaguely similar specs to Dan Auerbach's modified Jerry Donahue Tele that he used on old school Black Keys before he had a big weird guitar col...

That is a bargain! I had a wine red Squier Tele back when Squier were made in Mexico, must be 20 years ago. It was a nice guitar, always liked that colour as well. You keeping them pickups in it blane or swapping them for something more traditional? the lil 59 sounds great. I might swap the neck ba...

NGD - 1997 Mexican Tele

Walked into the local guitar center and saw this wine modified tele up on the used wall. $299 was too good to ignore. I guess the guy wasn't in a good place and came to sell his tele and strat that morning. You could tell this was not his favored guitar. No scratches, chips, digs, or fretwear. S# da...

At that price i'd look for a used PRS Custom 22.
But if you want a strat, you could get a brilliant one for about half that cost.
Full disclaimer I have a few really nice guitars and mostly just play my MIM strat.

The 1969 reissue competition mustangs hands down the best i've played due to the neck alone. The 65 reissue's have a chunkier neck profile. & i've never played the KC so i can't compare. With that said, mustangs have become too expensive . For the price there are plenty of other guitars on the u...

All i can say is i've sold many guitars.
I don't miss the jag-stang. I never miss it... It wasn't a very good guitar.

the best feature was the neck.

Can you get the red one with a maple neck?
If you buy the american version you can get any style neck with just about any color they make.

According to a bloke on OSG (who had early info re the VM offsets and Squire VIs etc): They're MIM and are $449. There's also MIM hardtailed Mustangs with different pickup configurations for $449. And a MIM Mustang bass with a PBass Special pickup config for $549. at that price they're very temping...
