Re: NGD - Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster - LH

I know neither are what you want but they've offered a full refund or to fix the issues? I don't think Fender are likely to think the shop's messing you about if that's the case.

Re: NGD - Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster - LH

Sorry to hear about all the problems :(

Re the trem, the underside of the panorama tremolo is different from the normal ones:

I assume it's still possible to tighten up the arm though.

Re: Behringer Power Overdrive PO300 + some old shortscale story telling

Love the story about Behringer sending you masses of free stuff because of your old ShortScale video  I've got a PW-2. Didn't realise they'd suddenly (?) become all [email protected] and desirable. You get definitely get those "loose stool" sounds out of it but there's decent sounds in it too. Not...

What do you think of the ODR-1, Thom? Funnily enough was looking at them earlier today.

They did a later version with an actual guitar as the controller:

I assume that's maybe what Eric is referring to?

Yeah, for me there's no real issue with making copies/clones of discontinued pedals, synths etc but copying stuff that's still in production is a bit of a shitty move.

Re: Banners?

Ah, is what I’m seeing not a banner then? Looks like some a drawing of a guy with a Flying V and a mic stand superimposed over a crowd shot at a gig? Says Shortscale.org on it.

Re: Banners?

I think it depends what "style" you choose in the Board Preferences at the moment. I get banners with "Rock n Roll" and "Mock n Roll" but not the others.

I remember thinking the Boss ES-8 looked amazing when it was announced but realistically I just don't need that level of flexibility/control just pissing about at home :(

Being able to sync up the tempo of delays/modulation (including via MIDI) looked especially cool.
