My first guitar was an SG200. It's sadly a bit worse for wear these days and I've long toyed with the idea of getting one of the fancier more upmarket ones.

What's the little switch between the tone controls and the output jack? Some sort of coil split?

I love my Squier one but I'm sure the Vinteras are a big step up in terms of quality.

Only one I have first hand experience of is the EHX Micro POG. The tracking's fantastic but the octave tones can sound a bit synthetic. Not sure I ever tried the octave up with bass though.

Suspected it probably wouldn't have escaped your attention but thought it worth mentioning just in case.

Hopefully Nick's suggestion will help you wreck an expensive vintage Boss pedal get the sondz you need.
