Re: JHS Notadümblë

My Notadümblë kit turned up today. Had pretty much forgotten I'd ordered it tbh. Looking forward to "making" my first pedal

I can't believe how far Behringer took cribbing the aesthetics of these Mu-Trons... actually, I guess I can

I think they’ve renamed it the Dual-Phase now but changed nothing else about it. Likely the same route they’ll take with their Centaur pedal.

And as if by magic, the Centaur is now ...

Re: NZJD

Congrats! Lovely Jag.

The neck pickup is maybe clankier sounding and more trebly than I'm used to with a Jag (Jag neck is my favourite of all the pickups), but I'll play with pickup heights this weekend. Most useful and distinct rhythm circuit I've ever used too.

Love a Jag neck pickup. And love ...

Re: JHS Notadümblë

The pedal he cloned for the clean boost part turned out to be a different one from the one he originally thought (he’d made two different ones for John Mayer or something). There’s nothing “wrong” with the pedals as such.

Re: N(o)GD

Nice!

My first guitar was an SG200. It's sadly a bit worse for wear these days and I've long toyed with the idea of getting one of the fancier more upmarket ones.

What's the little switch between the tone controls and the output jack? Some sort of coil split?

Not sure how quickly the 3030 free licences for this will get snapped up but Roland are giving away free copies of their Cloud TB-303.

They've got a Mark 2 now (different synth rather than just different colour).

Available in three non-transparent-potentially-urine-resembling colours:

Re: N(ish)BD - Vintera II Bass VI

Looks great!

I love my Squier one but I'm sure the Vinteras are a big step up in terms of quality.

I know what you mean about the variety in tones you can get out of them. They're really versatile and the bass cut's great for cleaning out the low end mush if you're not trying to play it like a ...

Love the 80s control panel.

Do these things have any sort of line out (headphone output?) or would you have to mic up the speaker to record them?
