Looks like I'm in the minority here, but if this one had normal covered humbuckers in it I think it would look quite smart

Re: PERSPEX DUO SONIC

I like the idea that someone might make a 22.5" scale, 1.5-inch-nut toothpick neck guitar with a 15lb body

Re: Duo/Musicmaster Bridgeplate/Tail Piece Makin' Adventures

Hello!

Any chance I could get one of your sweet looking duo bridges shipped to the uk?

Cheers,

I've got a black 1978 musicmaster, and I love the neck on it. Quite thick, as you say.

How does the humbucker sound?

This thread is brilliant, nice one.

I was wondering how the neck profile between the MIM and the squier compares. The back of the neck on the squier looks almost flat/square?

Age old question: duo neck on strat body

I've seen plenty of speculation about this on lots of different forums, but squier CV duo neck (conversion) on a strat body -- has anyone actually tried it?

Do the screw holes line up? Does it intonate? Is it EXCELLENT?

A piece of tasteless shit. I like St. Vincent only because she is hot. Her music is a pile of spiritual shit. But she is hot. But her music is a pile of unformed shit. As well as her newly designed guitars. A big pile of tasteless shit. But she is hot. Yeah. I like her a lot Total lurker, but I had...

60's musicmaster/duo neck... screws?

I'll put this in the screws sticky if anyone can sort it... I've got a set of (modern) Fender USA neck mount screws, pretty sure they're #8, 1 3/4" long... they are perfect for the holes in the body I have (early 70's), but they seem to be too thick for the '66 musicmaster neck I've got. Anyone...

I think the MicroPOG used the POG 2 algorithm so probably sounds "better" than the POG 1. There would be no difference between the quality of the sounds of the POG 2 and the MicroPOG otherwise. So that sounds like bullshit. Nice one, I had a sneaking suspicion that this might be the case.

Anyone know whether the MicroPOG and the POG2 sound more-or-less the same? I read on some other forums that the MicroPOG 'sounds better' (whatever that means), but I it seems like the folk round here are less likely to imagine huge differences in tone that just aren't there...
