Mostly 90s-style alternative, but I wanted something versatile enough to take in other directions too. I think the Screamers fit the bill.

I was in the same boat a couple months back, and honeyiscool recommended a set of Dragonfire Screamers, which I bought and love. They still have some of the character of the stock pickups, but the bridge pup is a little hotter and the neck pup gives you much better clarity. And with the coil taps, i...

Yeah, I'm probably going to go the EZDrummer route eventually. A question though: what's the difference between it and SuperiorDrummer and is that difference worth $100 to a grad student?

The Mockingbird is definitely the classiest design B.C. Rich has. Mine is just a Bronze series one with the TOM bridge that I picked up used in high school, though. Swapped out the pickups for some Duncans. I've never noticed any problems with neck dive, but that's probably because the body on that ...

Help me pretend I have a drummer

Any recommendations for (legal) free VST drums that sound convincingly drummish? I've been monkeying around with Cubase quite a bit, and the kits that come with the onboard synth are... pretty ok, mostly, but the toms border on laughable. I've been googling around for a couple days and finding a lot...

My Super-Sonic. It was my first "real" guitar when I traded up from the crappy Gremlin I started on back in middle school, so I basically grew up with it. Nothing else I've played has been as comfortable, or will be, probably, at this point. That neck just feels like home to me.

Ditto. I like the idea of a paisley finish in theory, but the pink is really not working for me.

well i put a toothpick in the hole i dug, and i put on the original strap button with original screw in and put the dunlop washer on, so now the strap is behind the strap button, screwed on, the screw will of course get more and more lose from use because a strap moves, but fuck it, can keep fillin...
