Edit: After some research it seems as the soviet guitars nerver where playable at all, too bad because I think they look rather cool.

sort of, unless you have string trees or a string bar or something which basically negates the difference i'd also be interested to see what the effects would be if you had a locking floyd nut. for the benefit of compliance i think a reverse headstock or anything would be negligible in that case.
