Re: Behringer C1 Buzz Fix

That's some spectacular work. I would've given up immediately and spent a day kicking myself for having bought "junk". People in the 60s didn't have a fraction of recording tools that we have but it didn't stop them from making great things. Rudy Van Gelder recorded and mastered some of t...

Stands up.....

Are you planning on building the brown note machine? If so could the final demo be NSFWed when you're done making it?

Re: Music stang!

Looks like it could tell some interesting stories if it could speak. Extra holes, tape...? Yep under the tape it has holes/ routes for more pots. It's been savagely routed, I guess it had a Bigsby and some sorta ToM on it at some point... http://i.postimg.cc/Kjg9x0xN/20210313-212034.jpg I had some ...

I love that in old footages Hendrix sounds sloppy and out of tune when he noodles but the second the beat and the groove drop he sounds like god being reincarnated

I do really love how responsive the OCD is, I'm running it at 18v, for the low gain stacking I'm doing right now the extra headroom seems to make a difference.
I need to try running my OCD at 18V

Re: Firefly FFTL - A cheap Tele Deluxe / LP hybrid

Good thing you had a spare spring that worked. I'll use that as an excuse to keep hoarding guitar related bits and pieces justifying it by the fact that I'll need them all one day.

Also I never realised that plumber's tape can be used on the bridge posts.

Re: pictures of your gear here

I run OCD also as my base tone with the drive below twelve. I swapped the OCD for a Behringer OD300, which is a clone of Boss OS2, for a bit. It's not as "organic" sounding as OCD where you can shape the sound by rolling the volume knob on your guitar, and it sounds much harsher and feels ...

Re: pictures of your gear here

Now where will we go for the ho tone? to the Boss, of course! i think saw an interview with a spokesperson or some other employee of the company years back saying it was supposed to be a shortening of "Hot Tone", which (1) they defeated by making the logo in all caps and (2) all for the s...

Re: pictures of your gear here

The Hotone pedals look so cute and futuristic all at the same time. Too bad the company seems to have discontinued that line of pedals altogether. Love the Pumpkinstang(because of the colour, not the band) and the minimalistic setup. If you ever decide to sell the Tender Octaver, not that you're goi...
