Re: 2022 gear goals

Someone was probably giving up on their rocknroll dream. Well, one man's loss is another man's drum kit. A short time will pass and we will see NickD rocking the stadiums with his signature custard sparkle drums

Vintage guitars get their highly desirable time worn colours mostly through the clear coat yellowing and making a cherry red SG go brown, a super white guitar go yellow, pelham blue guitars go greenish etc. If you sand the clear coat down you might discover the original colour completely intact. Re: New bass - '73 Greco

I've always liked the "wrong" 70s laminated necks on Gibsons and I especially like a laminated neck(and weirdly enough a one piece ash body) on this Jazzbass, congrats!

Trade them for Thomas's friends. Of course the minute you do that they start gifting him walls of Marshall full stacks to properly furnish his apartment because "we thought something was missing"

Re: 62ri Telecaster

Looks very classy indeed, congrats! Is the neck a C or a U? As far as I know originally they started making thin necks with the introduction of the bound Customs going from thick Vs and Us to thin Cs

Re: NGD Eastman T386

Awesome looking guitar. I've read a lot of good reviews of Eastmans. At the same time they are quite pricey for guitars that are made in China. An Eastman Junior costs as much as a Gibson. I'm not sure whether the price is justified

Give it some time and the neck alone will cost three times what you paid for the guitar

Re: 1961 Epiphone Les Paul SG Standard

Yeah, it costs like nine hundred bucks. It's better to buy a Tribute series Gibson SG or LP Special with a maple neck for that kind of money

1961 Epiphone Les Paul SG Standard

Epiphone has moved into the Gibson territory. According to this video the new SG Standard now has a two piece body and a one piece neck. Not that it really matters to me but that's probably a big step in terms of how valuable these new models will be on the used market in the future. http://www.yout...

Yes, Noel wrestled with his guitarist for the volume. Can't remember his name.
