Re: NGD: Squier Debut Stratocaster

Re: NGD: Squier Debut Stratocaster

Affinities also have thinner bodies. I haven't tried any new ones, but if I wanted a new strat I'd buy that coral pink Sonic Strat and if I wanted a tele the purple humbucker equiped Sonic Esquier

Re: NGD: Line 6 Variax 300

Just kidding. A bunch of YouTubers all remembered about the Firebird X for some reason recently. Haven't watched the videos but saw them in my feed.

Re: projects in the works

I got a question. I have a current* Firebird pickup in the bridge position of my strat. I bought the pickup a million years ago, when they probably were first introduced, and I get close to zero bass response from it - the strings from 1 to 3 overpower the 4-6 ones by being much lowder. Is it differ...

Re: new tom delonge starcaster controversy

Indonesian Fender? That's something new. Don't get me wrong, I personally think that modern Squiers are on par with any Fender. But charging Fender money for a Squier guitar is a scam.

Re: Black Japanese resurrection

Nice looking little guitar. These Teisco-ish guitars used to be dirt cheap and have been treated generally like garbage and I doubt a lot of people went as far as refretting them and replacing the wacky parts like the tuners and bridges to make them playable. It's much less headache to buy a used Sq...

Re: Behringer C1 Buzz Fix

That's some spectacular work. I would've given up immediately and spent a day kicking myself for having bought "junk". People in the 60s didn't have a fraction of recording tools that we have but it didn't stop them from making great things. Rudy Van Gelder recorded and mastered some of t...
