Nice. Kinda carries forward the anesthetic of mine (not the color scheme).
I'm not sure an amp that makes you go to sleep is a good thing.

Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe

I know this is going to get me some shit. But these silverlines look pretty...which is a plus 1 for me as I will have to have it live somewhere in the house and Mrs Hurb will have to accept its look. The Katanas are pretty fugly no? He's dropped the price to 350 Nah, it's a fair point. And lets be ...

Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe

I guess it's a reasonable price, but feel like you're still paying for a lot of onboard stuff you wouldn't be using if you're using it as a pedal platform? The Katana could be a similar and cheaper option for £350 new and I 'd wager a lot lighter than that setup, too. This, and I've seen Katanas at...

Re: Acoustic guitar recommendations

I think (particularly on an electric guitar forum) this is one of those topics that will inevitably descend into people recommending the thing that they have. In that vein, I'm still very much in love with my Sigma 000M-15. It's much battered now, having been used in classrooms by hundreds of stude...

Re: Ngd: it’s a Strat!

How heavy is the body? Every bullet with a tremolo I've held was heavy as hell, my bullet was heavy as hell and it wasn't the tremolo that weighed a ton, I took it completely apart and it was the body itself. PIt was probably the second heaviest guitar I've owned after a les paul knock off. Every h...

Re: Dan Auerbach

I don't think I could do without at least one humperdinker guitar. A lowish output PAF style is probably my favourite pickup.

Depends on which one. The tiny (5watt?) one is a bit tinny, but I think the 20 watt is decent.

Re: New guitar build day - Esquire

I thought they moved to the white guard at the time they moved to the blond finish. On other matter, it's funny how guitarists are obsessed nowadays with all worn nitro necks with jizz soaked into the wood but at the time customers were probably pissed "I paid so much money(between $1000-2000 ...

Aesthetically I was going for this (mid 50s Esquire) with a couple of modern touches, like the ability to intimate properly.

No, it’s a True Grit, so a little less output than yours, but more than a vintage style. Same range as yours though.
