Re: Zoom MS70CDR+

I had the original and it was good, but too many options TBH. In practical terms it didn't like being too close to, or using the same power supply as the rest of my effects, so had to live off the board. What did it do? I have 2 and not the power issues. http://i.ibb.co/hD72wVC/PXL-20240308-2027257...

Re: NGD - LTD Viper 256P

24.75 scale models that use headstock angle to provide string tension need a fucking volute. Say it with me, people. Volutes don't really do anything TBH, except possibly move the break elsewhere. I'm tempting fate here, but I've been playing Epiphones and Gibsons since '89 and I've never had a hea...

Despite having absolutely no need at all for a big amp, I would love that.

Re: Shady Sustainer

Oooh, I'm interested in this. A wee while ago, I got the stuff I needed to make my own sustainer. It was pickup wire of a thicker gauge (dunno about electronics, this was preferred because of something to do with inductance vs resistance maybe...., can't remember, didn't really understand at the ti...

Re: Old Gretsch Synchromatic Junior Jet

I used to have one, but with a single Gretsch pickup (I forget the name). Somewhere around 2006/7. It wasn't a bad guitar, but not good enough to leave much of an impression either.

I’d enjoy that.

You’re correct, nylon saddles. Standard spec I think.

A quick couple of family photos of my current guitars (Martin excepted). Pretty happy with this selection TBH.

Re: Always on pedals, a popular option?

If you count reverb, then yes, I have that on pretty much all the time. I keep the amp turned up to about 7 (non MV Marshall), control the volume with an attenuator and the amount of drive with the volume controls on the guitar.

A close escape, I think. He's got no cause to be pissed off, he was trying to pass off a broken pedal as ok, and that's a shitty move.

This may no longer be a thing.

I think that stopped in the early 80s - but would still be an issue if using old style decals I suppose.

I don’t think LPB was ever nitro - pretty sure it was acrylic and only the clear was nitro.
