NGD Fender Musicmaster

Belated NGD post. Picked up a 1978 Musicmaster a few weeks back complete with original WRHB. Always been curious about the WRHB as I never really got on with HB's but I quite like this one. Still find myself reaching for the non existent tremolo & the neck feels slighter fatter than my other gui...

I had one of those Alesis nanoverbs? when the internet rediscovered them about 12 years ago. Did a very nice reverse reverb.

Has the musicmaster had a respray, I've not seen one that colour?
I don't think the trem looks that bad.

Those Sheratons play really nice, I had one for a few years. I did swap the pups for SD 59's and added a bigsby. Unfortunately i find demos a bit unwieldy standing up playing live so sold it on.

Piff. What year is the Mustang? I bought it from Pat pacifeliz . I believe it's an early 70's. At some point it's had a refinish and the pots were changed to Dimazio (very good lots of travel). The pickups were changed to ceramic possible dimazio like the pots. Since I've owned the guitar Its have ...

It's a millimetric guitar. Their Instagram page is awesome and full of great pictures, the attention to detail is fab. The offset design is nicer than the symmetrical one. I bought myself a slightly battered Rickenbacker 330 and it's killed any other guitar wants. Such a funny feeling guitar and de...

The body reminds me of Adventure Time for some reason.

I have owned a few Muffs over the years EHX & homemade/boutique. The best one or rather the one that works best for me is the Deluxe Big Muff that came out a couple years ago, it covers a lot of ground and is very tweakable and cheap for what you get. Kitrae has posted settings to get to various...

Never played a bad G&L and the hardware electronics are great even on the budget models...... I'm glad they have made these but for me the reason I play Jazzmasters & Jags has a lot to do with the tremolo, would have love to have seen G&L use a version of the traditional trem.

I don't think its tube as you would get more volume fluctuation rather than cutting out altogether if a tube was on the way out. Take it to a tech its safer!

The only reliable 9 or 10 sets to work on my Bratomaster's Jazzmaster trem are Fender Bullets. Every other brand I've tried has unwound at the bottom of the high E string at some point. Sadly my local music shop doesn't sell them but they perform really well. No windings round the tailpiece means t...
