This head used to be a combo, they weigh a stupid amount so this one was converted to a head by Zilla cabs.

Recent new amp Mesa Tremoverb

Picked up a Mesa Tremoverb recently... Fantastic amp, cleans are great gains are great & lovely trem & reverb.... I could gig this without pedals. Also runs on either EL34's or 6L6's (Came to me with EL34's) You can pull the tubes if you wish to run it at a lower wattage although the master ...

I did the 5.0 wiring mod but swapped the switches over, made more sense for me.

Yep, I read that. Think I will get a 50watt and try it out at a rehearsal, if it copes with a full band then cool otherwise will return it for the 100watt.

I have been tempted to buy one the new Boss Katana amps, most likely the 50watt. I has a headphone socket a USB Line out & loud enough for gigs.

Hmm so looking at the specs the 50 watt does not have a presence knob or effects loop, I can live without them but the deal breaker for me though is it does not appear to work with the 4 way switch like the 100 watt, am I wrong?

Boss Kantana Amps

http://www.boss.info/us/categories/amplifiers/katana/ Have any of you tried these out yet? Having recently sold my amp these are on my radar, mainly for the weight to watts ratio. Easy to transport to the studio & the odd gig, plus can plug into the laptop / desk. Also has power scaling down to ...

Hmmm I have a Vista Series Musicmaster bass, its great yet the bridge is not the best & I can never get it to quite intonate. Would one of those Hipshots work with it?

My 66 and 72 Mustangs have no issues whatsoever, solid as a rock and the angle is perfect. I guess this fixes issues with the reissues. I've had a Compstripe reissue and a 69ri. I can't recall what the trem was like on them on them at all. I have an early 70's Mustang, tue trem is great guitars sta...

I'm left handed but play right handed. Feels totally natural to me. I have tried to play left handed but can only do open and barre chords really slowly. I don't feel hindered playing complex rhythms or finger picking with my right hand. Left handed guitars were not an option for me as none of the s...

They're great. Worth every penny (cent).

Having had various Mustang bridges on my guitars over the years I eventually sprang for a Staytrem. If it is in your budget just buy one and live happily ever after.

Like you I use the spring reverb on my amp but I have been using a Behringer RV600 for years now as back up, it has a bunch of settings including shimmer effect and the spring is nice.
