Actually Nick, looking at the GK MB 100 watt combo, it seems ideal for what I need... They're a bit more expensive here the UK, but I'm going to see if I can find one in the black friday sales...

Thanks for the info guys... Do you guys use a PA? just get a bass di like a sansamp/mxr m80/behringer equivalent. Yeah so far I'd just been going through the PA just using a standard DI box for rehearsal, but I was wondering if I needed a small amp onstage to help with monitoring even if it was bein...

I've read that they can function as a bass amp too, have you tried it with a bass yet? The reason I ask is that I'm currently looking for a small bass amp. Dave Lunt does fix solid state stuff, he fixed an old 80s fender combo of mine about 10 years ago and it's still working to this day... I would say he's that cheap tho...

Does anyone know anything about these things? Im talking about sampling which goes into making many hip hop albums. Take record, find part to sample, Have the turntable connected to the mixer then to the sampler and sample that part. The sampler cuts the music into parts so you can find which ever crap you want to use from it. I'm not familiar...
