Re: pictures of your gear here

So I've been putting this together the past couple days. http://i.ibb.co/54jmCtr/PXL-20240415-202925950-2.jpg There aren't actually anymore pedals (I am pretty happy with what I have for once) but with the bigger board( metal peg board painted black and cut to size) I can fit the expression pedal on...

Re: pictures of your gear here

How does the Kaoss pad get used? Was always interested in them but didn't have the imagination to see a use case for one. Or have Fashion Tips gone in a different direction and are now a Muse tribute? To be fair it's not heavily used at the moment. I am effectively using it as a noise machine for t...

Re: Zoom MS70CDR+

Yeah it does, I can try and record something tonight to show you how it sounds? Will likely just be a phone recording though.

Re: Zoom MS70CDR+

As for the new one, it has peaked my interest slightly. However I will probably not bother unless it does what the original does but infinitely better. But keeping the somewhat digital sound I enjoy on the original.

Re: Zoom MS70CDR+

Theres a good chance it may add some noise to my signal. But my ears aren't as conscious of it or it could be coming from other stuff so I am less bothered. I am not exactly playing clean a lot of the time. I couldn't do Fashion Tips without the multistomp though it's easily the best pedal I've ever...

Re: Zoom MS70CDR+

I had the original and it was good, but too many options TBH. In practical terms it didn't like being too close to, or using the same power supply as the rest of my effects, so had to live off the board. What did it do? I have 2 and not the power issues. http://i.ibb.co/hD72wVC/PXL-20240308-2027257...

I have the the 25.5 / 24.75 one and it just about lines up if you move it one fret down.

Re: Sans drummer help

So tried out the Peavey and it's still too bass heavy even with the bass turned right down and the treble turned up. It just didn't improve things. However the practice space had this little wedge that worked much better and had the top end we needed to hear the snare. So we are going to try and do ...

Re: Sans drummer help

Out of interest I am going to try plugging my behringer sansamp pedal into it to see how it sounds with guitar. But not expecting much. I mean, if it's got speaker simulation on it, it's designed to go a flat frequency, PA kinda situation; keyboard amps aren't really anything but a wee little PA I ...

Re: Sans drummer help

I was going to photoshop a picture of a sansamp pedal to say sansdrummer but I ran out of steam today. I hope to back up to making pointless over executed jokes tomorrow. Re: Sans drummer help

Realise I didn't include the link earlier. These are the ones I use. Possibly different size. Think it's the 10" one anyway. http://www.laney.co.uk/amps/live-sound/concept/cxp-110 Looks perfect, will save up for something like this. Picked up the 40 quid Peavey from a lovely chap. It's bigger ...

Re: Sans drummer help

Yes been looking at keyboard amps actually! Have found a Peavey kb300 locally for 40 quid that might just be the business for now. Like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275909922428?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ZeduLCl5RhO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=Oo2_ycAsTr2&var=&...

Sans drummer help

So we Sacked our drummer and have taken quite well to programmed drums instead. Live we use a MPC to play the drum files from that goes to the PA. We were recommended to also use a bass amp on stage to help us hear the drums if the house PA/monitors wasn't up to it. The first gig this worked well bu...
