Re: fuckin super sonic volume knobs

Sorry Rob, I thought the SS was slightly different than just 2 vol 2 hum. I heard the knobs and switch were all backwards, which made sense when I watched your video above.

@Pens Thanks

Re: fuckin super sonic volume knobs

Educated guess: when either knob is all the way off, it shorts the circuit and completely kills the signal. You see this on Gibson L@@K 4 knob dudes. However, that shouldn't matter if you have it switched to either pickup by itself. That's how my old Vista one worked. You could have one on 10 and o...

Does anyone here own my old JS? Details inside..

Hi all, a bit of a long shot here but thought it worth asking. Years and years ago, I sold a JS to someone either here, or that "other" forum we used to frequent. Unfortunately I can't remember if it was here or there. It was a Q serial (I'm pretty sure) Sonic Blue JS to, and I'd like to k...

Sounds miles better than the old CIJ Jaguar I had. Looks incredible too mate, blocks and binding is such a good look. I just wish they made these in 7.25 radius with vintage frets. I got too used to it and anything else on a Fender feels gross. Edit : Looked at them again and the frets are vintage t...

I've had very few problems with audio on Mac BUT it has been mostly limited to Garageband, so a big benefit of using 'native' software. I'd definitely pick-up a cheap Your OS -compatible audio interface off eBay or the Cash Converters site or something. The M-Audio I was using with Windows for a fe...

Thanks, I will look into this. I intend to get a USB interface at some point soon, this was just a stop gap, but one I'm determined to figure out now.

I use my headset mic on a daily basis for calls at work and that, so the line in/line out on the mac works. But yeah, on the amp its one socket for both, hopefully this pic works as the one in my OP is a dead link :

Yeah man I checked this, for whatever reason it just recognises it as a new output device, switches the Mac output to the amp, even though it's not possible.

I used the same cable to see if it allowed me to hear the amp in my headphones, which it does.

Emulated speaker output Blackstar HT-1RH

I've been wanting to get back into recording bits of demos and just generally fucking about with recording but it's been years. I bought this little Blackstar head the MK1 version I thought this would be simple enough, run the emulated speaker out into the input on my Macbook and off I go, I can rec...

I'm pretty sure I still have my hang tags too. That's cool Rob.

I also wish I kept my first JS from when I was a teen. Pretty sure I sold it to someone on the other forum back in the day. It has a very distinct gouge in the butt of the guitar and would love to buy it back.

I really like it, definitely on par with the other Japanese one I own. Maybe I lucked out, but it's a great guitar.
