Re: Sunn Amps Are Back???

To be fair the solid state prices are reasonable-ish. I think when I first looked I saw the price of the tube heads and immediately closed the window, my bad. I scrolled past the tube ones immediately, as I was looking for solid state, then I scrolled back up to the tube amps and had the same react...

Re: Sunn Amps Are Back???

Yeah 3 big ones for a tube amp is definitely a pipe dream for me but I’m sorely tempted by the solid states. Though I’ve looked at Hilbish Design stuff as well, and was considering going that route before these were announced.

Sunn Amps Are Back???

Plops sharing stories of his friend with a Sunn amp on the zoom call last Saturday must have been some sort of incantation… because I guess I bunch of people licensed the Sunn name from Fender and are going to produce amps again

Loving the purple color coordination that’s going on. This thread makes me want to dig out my pedalboard and amp and plug in to something that’s not in a DAW

Re: 2022 gear goals

My gear as it stands is my Tele that Shad gave me, a black partscaster strat, the white Squier P-bass I use for the band, my Bullet Mustang and a black Daisy Rock Retro H and my red burst Recco (no, YOU haven’t ordered the missing tailpiece to finish putting it back together yet). I’m fairly set in ...

Re: you can't just not post for a couple months...

Much appreciated Plops! Turns out home recording ain’t too bad. I just need to learn how to mix now…or convince the band’s guitarist to let me use his much nicer home studio to re-record everything and have him mix it for me

...and then make a thread in the art shack talking about your solo efforts outside of being incredibly busy offline, i've had the time to record a couple rough demos. http://kingkiller.bandcamp.com/album/arson-demos it's an attempt at a hardcore thing, since the band i'm in now isn't scratching the ...

Do you know what guitar players love?

MENUS
I was going to make a joke about having to tap dance to adjust the synth sounds while you’re playing but I then remembered that shoegaze exists.

rad! that guitar is going to be a stunner when you get it dialed in. even those tuners look like they'll have some life (the first photos had me worried). i think a drill is definitely the easiest way to get that broken screw out, but maybe someone here knows of some other macgyver wizardry to pull...
