Neck: Alnico II (parallel wiring)
Bridge: Duncan Designed Distortion (parallel wiring)

Today i tried another mod:
- Black pickguard and 2 Alnico II singlecoils.

I put a Duncan Designed Distortion in the bridge wired in parallel mode (like my Jagmaster).
I removed the neck pickup and covered the hole with a photo of a humbucker.

My new mod: As i barely use the neck pickup i decided to remove it. Because i use a lot of Distortion and Fuzz pedals i tried to mod the bridge pickup to parallel mode. I bought some chinese Alnico II pickups on eBay. I paid 25 Euros for both (ca. 30 Dollars). I know the Seymour Duncan Alnico II pickups and i must admit these chinese pickups are equal. The relic job looks awesome, love the sanding through to show the burst underneath. What tools do you use to relic? I've been wanting to experiment with it so I'm curious. I used a chain, spoon, screwdriver, knife, scalpel, scotch-brite. And i watched some relic videos on youtube before. Cool, than...

Squier Bullet Mustang + Squier Jagmaster

The Bullet Mustang ist great right out of the box.
Hardware is absolutely ok, the Pickups are great.
No need to mod.
