You might already be doing this, but... A fair number of people bought these Squiers with intent to mod... and many of those mods included swapping out the bridge. Hit up the various popular guitar forums where people post mods and search through the threads for projects with these. It’s pos...

Those idiots dont know what they have half the time and you could probably snag a whole nother guitar with it for 150 bucks That is a thought, but if I grabbed another HH jag for 150, I'd wanna keep the whole guitar as is and not pull the bridge of...

It looks very much like a Danelectro bridge from 10 years ago though there are slight differences. Try Allparts "danelectro bridge", they sold it some time ago. Personally I wouldn't like the idea of the saddles being screwed to the plate to hold the intonation. But that just me Thanks fo...

What Is This Bridge??

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here could identify/give this bridge a name ( It comes off of a 2011 HH Squier Jaguar) I have been trying to tracking down another like it (with little success). I am having a short scale guitar built and I need to find another like it ( I have already tried all the ...

I'm pretty sure that it's the exact same as the Danelectro U3 bridge http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Danelectro-Intonatable-Bridge-for-U3-CHROME/332828156769?epid=2254438608&hash=item4d7e1aa361:g:3GoAAOSwkDtcBmzc:rk:1:pf:0 Ive considered that , but I'd like to locate and actual Squier jag/ JazzMast...

Hi Cooter, appreciate the offer, might take you up later, but I would like to try to find a Squier bridge, i did one time out of the blue on Reverb.

Hello, Hope you can help me out I'm looking for the 3 point adjustable "Top Loader" fixed bridge that were originally on Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar HH and Jazzmaster HH guitars ( see pic) . I know a lot of people didn't care for them and replaced them with other bridges. If anyone has ...

Side note. My mom had this shit called "trigger finger". It's genetic lucky me I found out. It's where the tendon in your hand that's attached to your finger gets all messed up and tries to get out of your skin. From the inside out. Ask your Dr to check it out. The surgery to fix it looks...

Thank you to everyone that posted, heres a few points to your posts 1. I may be playing the lightest gauge string in the world 36-28-20-13-10 and 7 AND tuned 1/2 step down ( Eb) and yes they intonate, luckily i have a really light touch and can stay in tune. All guitars are the same gauge and string...

There could be a couple of other factors, such as the action on the tighter guitar being a bit higher, or the strings themselves (brand and how new the strings are etc.), but essentially, yes, string compliance (a little bit different to string tension) is the feeling of a guitars strings tightness...

Does Neck Angle make a guitar play harder?

I hope someone could possibly answer a question for me: Does the angle of the neck on a bolt on Squier ( a Jaguar in this case) influence the ' stiffness' / tension of the strings? I have arthritis and after 40 plus years of playing, have had to switch to 24 inch scale Jaguars to ease the pressure o...

HELP anyone have some Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge inserts just

Hello I'm in desperate need of the 2 side inserts / knurled bushings that the 2 bridge height adjustment screws, screw into ( like the inserts for Les Paul tail piece studs) from a Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar HH . I just bought this bridge (see pic below) but its missing the 2 inserts / knurled b...

Firstly, just in case you didn't know, a full size humbucker won't fit without routing. A stacked coil, Strat-size humbucker should, though. As for wiring, it is indeed as simple as just replacing hot and ground wires. A lot of humbuckers though (DiMarzio included) are 4- or 5-wire setups, for purp...

Wiring suggestions for Jaguar pickup replacement

Hello I plan on changing my Squire Jaguar's single coils to 2 Dimarzio humbuckers (a Steve Morse in the lead and a Super 2 in the rhythm) I've found more than a few wiring schematics for the Jaguar, but was wondering if anyone out there has had experience with changing singles coils to Humbuckers? I...
