Re: Behringer C1 Buzz Fix

cool, but from a scientific point of view, you should have made the changes one at a time so that you could isolate the issue. you fucked it. now we'll never know.

Ah, Robroe has got the grey hairs. We will have to start calling him Papa Robroe. Papa Robroe, why doth thy pickgaurd shine with such sparkle?

Re: SQUIER FSR CV LATE '60S JAZZ BASS MODS

Looks great. The only surprise was when I realised that the treble side screw on the pickup cover is going into a cavity, so it's just screwed into the pick guard. Re: SQUIER FSR CV LATE '60S JAZZ BASS MODS

That's me all lined up for some hardcore drilling action. Used the below guide for the bridge and went with some back of a fag packet calculations for the bridge cover. I've put a layer of masking tape on the underside of the parts of the covers that touch the guitar as well, in order to protect the...

Re: SQUIER FSR CV LATE '60S JAZZ BASS MODS

I think for some reason I was hoping it was easier to paint with modern paint. I not a nitro snob, I think poly / acrylic is fine. I also don't want the finish to rub off my guitar while I'm playing or melt if I leave it up against a guitar cable.

Re: How hard is it to paint a guitar with poly?

I'd seen some reviews saying the QA was really shitty on these guitars and that the setup out of the box was horrible / non-existent, needs a full turn of the truss rod etc. But mine is fine. Frets are good. Setup is ok, could probably get lower action but out of the box it's very playable as is. My...
