Pure awesomeness. I, too, am too chicken to ever attempt to add blocks to a neck, so kudos to you!

Maybe he could salvage the neck by filling it with epoxy or something. Do you really think it would be worth it?? I would be worrying that the damn thing would fall apart at any second. :) I wasn't being serious :) Might be cool to keep as a conversation piece, the epoxy would help hold it together...

I'm pretty sure that picture is originally from a different auction, too. I remember seeing it a while back, I remembered it because for some reason the bridge has three barrel saddles like a duo-sonic or a musicmaster.

Plus all his feedback is as a buyer...

Fender Mustang Ebay Scam

Check out this scam artist.

He lists a 65 Mustang RI for the buy it now price of $300 Canadian dollars (despite being in Spain), but he lists his shipping costs as $1200.

Maybe he hand delivers it, but only flies first class?

Here's the link here.

Really weird that the termites left an outer shell. Maybe termites don't like the taste of nitrocellulose.

Jaguar + Termites = this

Some guy on the EvilBay is parting out what's left of his Jaguar, which apparently was eaten by termites. The auctions ( here and here ) have some pretty amazing pictures of a neck that was completely hollowed out: http://www.timccracken.com/ebay/ebayphotos/03-05-08/termite1.jpg http://www.timccrack...

Awesome!

How does the amp sound? I'm sure it sounds amazing, but I've never played through a Gibson amp, so I'm curious.

Re: I has an Airline Amp.

The dude I'm borrowing this from just picked up a 1959 Gibson Explorer amp for fucking $400. I'm talking about the little amp that came with the Explorer guitar. Fucking $400 straight up. No shit. My mind is fucking BLOWN. It looked at it and it's in fucking sweet shape, just has dust on it. I can'...

Had a bit of a scout about. The prices i've seen range from about $400-$1000 (400 wouldn't be too bad, only going to rise in value too). The single pickup model looks pretty cool, there's definately a hint of this about it. http://www.guitarsbyleo.com/PICS/ARTIST/BOS/LOVAGEND.JPG Are these 24 inch ...

Those all plastic guitars look cool, but they weigh a ton, and I imagine its easy to scratch them. I'd love to see one of those see-through headstocks on a regular wooden guitar. I bet that would look kind of cool. Or completely out of place. I wonder how solid the plastic headstock is? I wonder if ...

It would be cool if the Jet King came with the funky black-on-red burst that we see on all the old Teiscos and other retro-cheapies from the surf era.

A pink mustang would be awesome, but those millions of crystals would probably cause massive skin abrasions.

I have no idea what Shakira's music sounds like. I only watch her videos with the volume turned off.

Shakira Mustang

Shakira gives me a boner, but her mustang makes me feel ghey just by looking at it. Good news, though: she's selling it for cheap on Ebayz to buy pies for children! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250214038204&indexURL=1&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting http://i19.e...

I've seen a lot of these types of no-name les paul copies floating around ebayz for ultra cheap. I assume they're made in China. Anybody here ever tried one of these cheapies? I'm sure the electronics and pickups are garbage, and the hardware is probably not up to par, either. But I'd be curious to ...
