What ends said. I can add this- it will have the same downsides as any combo amp, the valves etc will endure more vibration over the years. Also they are heavy! 4x10 will be louder than a 2x12 and about the same as a 2x15 as far as surface area goes. any boasting about the bassman 50 can be applied ...

for me, the equipment I use depends on what I need for the job. so +1 to that point. I currently use a tuner, overdrive and delay, but thats all i need at the moment.

My musicmaster got a LOT of play when we were doing smaller shows, 3 or 4 songs then load off. I would always get compliments on its looks, likely due to the custard finish and being a vintage Fender Full sets i used my Jaguar HH but it had too many switches and was really more than I needed in a li...

I use a bit of reverb and a low mixed dynamic delay on all the time (well, not ALL the time)
luckily the Bassman and my closed/SUPER sturdy 212 already has that '3d' thing going on.

Nice! I would have placed the pickup elsewhere (pickup placement is very important on bass instruments) but otherwise it looks killer! I bet it could bring the br00tz in baritone tuning.

Open Orange 212 is spot on. A mate of mine has one, he's had a tiny terror, rocker 30 and a mesa dual rec. Every amp he or i had sounded amazing through that cab, my Bassman 50 could really grind through that thing, and if we wanted more bass we would put it in a corner. 8)
