Does anyone remember what happened to my mustang?

So like 10 years ago when I was broke AF, I sold practically all my guitars of any value. I can't remember where they went. Just kinda wondering what happened to them, specifically this '78 mustang that was super cool. http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/r0ldAV36mWYxPgCm73fbM1vbZ9BwlFLB6L2brH7VhCS8mAyb...

Behringer Analog Synths

These new Behringer synths look really cool. They are Juno 106 based. The DeepMind 12 http://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/o3H4wXBGVg73nxjJnagEfW.jpg And there is a DeepMind 6 that looks to be the same except for 6 less voices and one less octave keyboard (oh, and no WiFi). The 12 is $1000, the 6 is $700.

the enclosure is completed, I started to build the filter but I got a little held up because I have to make my own face-plate for it. I will update with some pictures and stuff when I start working on it again.

MIDI-in via USB. I saw a youtube video where someone demonstrated conversion to CV was possible when sending MIDI out from a computer. What im not sure about is will it work with a keyboard.

a question about the SQ-1, how does it work as a MIDI to CV converter? there hasn't been a lot of info about that out there.

I was thinking about getting one but now I'm looking at the Arturia KeyStep.

Love it stew, cool stuff. Have you heard of the MKS-7 "Super Quartet"? I had thought it was just a sort of preset module but recently found is actually programmable through MIDI. It's also closely juno related. lemme just spoil these videos so as not to hijack your thread too much [youtube...

I'm going to build the two ADSR Envelopes. and I'm going to build the AM Synths AM8121 filter. Like the Frequency Central System X modules it is based on the Roland System-100M. I'd like to build an oscillator or two. I haven't decided on what yet. Maybe a MIDI-to-CV module would be nice like this o...

Building some modular stuff

Inspired by the new Roland System-500 modular synth I got some PCBs and Panels from Frequency Central.

Not shown here, I ordered the parts from Tayda and Small Bear.

you can make hot rails fit. you gotta get the real fender mustang covers though and not the dimarzio style ones which are just a bit smaller.

I have never tried the GFS rails but I have done it with other generic rail humbuckers.

Yeah but its sort of like the different pickups in a guitar. Its the the base sound that you're starting with. Yeah you can color the sound with the amplifier or effects or how you play but the pickups create the basic character of the sound. Like pickups, different companies oscillators have differ...

Doepfer makes a VCS 3 style filter module. along with many other filter modules based on vintage synths. there are many roland filter clones out there. what doesn't seem to be as widely available is analog oscillator modules based on vintage synths. the roland oscillator module is definitely filling...

so nevermind, System-100 and 100M are not the same. the 100M is apparently more similar to the 700. The 700 was a monstrous roland modular and was a major cornerstone in developing the roland sound. for example the TR-808 and 909 sounds were originally patched on a System-700 . it was used by Georgi...

Yeah I think they are $159 like the other volcas. Very much tempts a "why the hell not" kinda purchase. If it had full MIDI In/Out/Thru it would be a really good companion to a DX7. It only has a MIDI In as it is so you can't save your patches on the computer or dump them to a DX7 (althoug...
