Re: Joan Jett epiphone 299

Funny-looking Epiphone fr; whats the white shit around the pickup etc.

Pure into that, the kinda "bevelled" body shape rules

Re: Behringer Chorus Symphony

I bet Boss wish they'd reissued the CE-1 now...

I get a feeling all of these Behringer "vintage" purposely fall into a way-greyer area of trade dress copyright shit - I remember when they first shared the original designs of the Boss compact pedal rip-offs, they were near identical to Boss and shit ...

Re: SoCal Amp repair?

That defo sounds like something 'cold solder joint'-y, or maybe a failing cap (I had similar things happen to my DSL50 back in the day too); getting a tech to look it over certainly sounds like a good idea at this stage, although you could always give the footswitch input/s a blast of contact ...

V cool, I have fond memories of my Mellowtone Wolf Computer; the new amp design and feature set implies something Dumble-y?

Sick as! I went out and bought a Memory Boy as soon as I found how that's what the modulation was on Pamela a few years ago, it's soooooo good

Re: Thank LP2 megathread

Really fucking enjoying this record, Freddy. It pulls in way more colours and moods than anything Thank have done previously, all of which stands to make the syrupy stuff sweeter, and raucous stuff raucouser .

Perhaps Today might be my fave at the moment; there's so much going on there (including ...

Just wired up my completely indulgent switcher board with new cables, and an upgraded power supply so I don’t have to run out of two sockets. Halberd is new, got brainwashed by YouTube.

Re: NPD: TC Electronics Bucket Brigade

You can adjust the mod speed, just not on the fly. There’s a trimpot inside.

You are welcome to have a cheeky lend if you ever want a dabble.

Oh nice! That already puts it above the Carbon Copy, where they're both Trimmy Turners

Very sweet to offer, thanks dude; I'll likely keep an eye on ...

Re: NPD: TC Electronics Bucket Brigade

I had my eye on one of these on my endless modulated delay journey, bargain!

how it melts into the dry sound

Took me ages to realise this is my favourite type of delay, esp when there's ALSO a bit of low-end roll off too, so it really sits behind the guitar in the way real ambience does. Sure ...

Re: Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Core

Yeah, nice; plugging that and whatever IR-loader thing you end up with into a PA/flat response monitor (i.e. not a guitar amp and guitar speakers), and you'll get as close as poss.

Re: Harley Benton DNAfx GiT Core

If you're really trying to get Teh Kurdtz here (surely the whole point of this pack) , you'd need those pedals and a similarly Fendery preamp -plugin or physical-running into the IR.

You're not supposed to be plugging a speaker IR'd signal into your guitar amp; it's supposed to go to a direct/flat ...

Aw man, so sick; both great, classy purchases! Love me a Mosrite, although probably moreso the Univox Hi-Flier 'copies'; thanks Cobain.

Probably an Excalibur for me, although I'd probably actually hate the real thing:
