Super cool, I'm very surprised they didn't share the EQ across channels though!

Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe
I know this is going to get me some shit. But these silverlines look pretty...which is a plus 1 for me as I will have to have it live somewhere in the house and Mrs Hurb will have to accept its look. The Katanas are pretty fugly no? He's dropped the price to 350 Yeah, that is fair enough; I've been...

Re: Blackstar Silverline Deluxe
No input from me, other than I like that digital modelling amps are starting to look nice , and less like smart fridges http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qvsupp_uyLg ooh it has a phaser I guess it's a reasonable price, but feel like you're still paying for a lot of onboard stuff you wouldn't be using i...

Re: ISO guitar rig for desk
I can speak fondly of the Yamaha THR series: stereo speakers, both USB and headphoney outputs, decent FX and amp modelling (various gain/amp types as well as 'Acoustic' and 'Bass'), the ability to bypass all of the modelling to just use as a solid-state amp. The speakers are "full range" (...

Funnily enough I just sold a Verb Square on Reverb.
Really pretty damn decent; the inclusion of that many modes AND a tone control was a complete winner.

Re: Building a mini Kurdt pedalboard
The DS-1 and DS-2 are objectively bad pedals. You shouldn’t need a half dirty decent valve amplifier for the pedal to sound good Emperors new clothes all over the shop here. Let’s be real the nirvana live guitar sound with the DS pedals was not great I tried my gf's one a few years back, and with t...

I fucking hate that geoblocking gaslighting shit they do; why not just say "this item isn't available to your region" rather than show me something completely unrelated?

Re: So, I uh, might have done something kind of stupid..
Both the "tiny head, massive cab" look and the implied heft reminded me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGgcYNlH02g Doog: The Jet City amps in Amplitube always seemed like a strange inclusion to me, especially given that they are ostensibly budget amps. Those ones I think are straight c...

Re: New guitar build day - Esquire
I thought they moved to the white guard at the time they moved to the blond finish. On other matter, it's funny how guitarists are obsessed nowadays with all worn nitro necks with jizz soaked into the wood but at the time customers were probably pissed "I paid so much money(between $1000-2000 ...

Doog: The Jet City amps in Amplitube always seemed like a strange inclusion to me, especially given that they are ostensibly budget amps. Those ones I think are straight clones of the more typical Soldanos. What's weird is that I think that the original Soldanos were also included? So you had a mod...

If you go and stand in your garden for a bit, I can probably show you? hahaha Looks insane, although that wide combo on less-wide cab is giving me Jenga anxiety I've never played a Jet City irl , but remember how much I loved the Jet City model in Amplitube, so I have played one in the Matrix

Re: Jonzing for Squier '22 line
I feel like all Fender's recent photography is very suspect anyways; when I was scoping out some fancy colour offsets, IRL photos always looked waaaaay more washed-out than Fender's own images.
