The floor, you loose bottom end if you take the amp off the floor. I never tilt the amp toward me either, don't want it blasting my ears giving me tinitus.

or do it the old fashioned way, set your volume with your band whilst your guitar volume is set at around 7, then turn it up to 10 for extra volume when needed.....

Well if simplicity is what your after then I'd go for the MXR Micro Amp. Plus its small.

The Boss TU2 is pretty good, you can run other pedals off it. The behringer version is supposed to be ok, chip as chips.

Ugly as fuck, sort of finish PRS or Hamer would go for.

I got rid of mine recently, great pedal for single note stuff & general noise but shite for chords. I couldn't find any mods.
It would be a great pedal if you could bypass the octave effect & just have the fuzz it would be more user friendly.

There is a company that sells plugs for the F holes on the internet. Its basically black rubber shaped to fit the hole you could prolly do it yourself. Back in the day people used to stuff them with paper. The pups wax potted?

Top one would look much better with a maple neck.

You get a burn on your arm for the constant rubbing but not until after a couple hours playing, you get used to it.
IMO its your hip that take the most punishment, if you bash the guitar about of course.
