Re: 2022 gear goals

yeah that's insane, series ? 4pc ? I think it’s 5 piece including the snare, but it’s not in front of me at the moment. I’m not sure on the series, there doesn’t seem to be anything to ID it apart from the Mapex badges. From the SLIPKNOT MOTHER FUCKER MOTHER FUCKER sticker on the bass drum it’s pro...

Re: 2022 gear goals

£20 ?? My plan was to get my pedalboard sorted (my current psu is this old budget thomann brick one and it can't power the oceans 11), i'd like a smaller case and board for 6-7 pedals max. Sell the Orange rocker 30 head, Ampeg svt 410 cab, some pedals that i don't use (digitech xp200, carl martin re...

Re: Home guitar-time setups

i have that same narrow bamboo rack in my bathroom. I'd keep an eye on the one holding the amps, presume the weight isn't thát heavy but it'd make me nervous :P I'm very happy i got that mustang micro, FANTASTIC little gizmo for just grabbing a guitar, headphones and noodling a bit or playing along ...

Re: 2021: A Year in Gear

An 'almost new...lal' lefty Am Pro II JM in mercury and a mustang micro

a bunch of accessories and strings/low value parts

and a pair of nice B&O headphones i got at discount.

That's the music stuff. Did pick up a WiiU and some stuff for that last summer.

Re: NGD - Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster - LH

Bax Music and Tonefactory are two shops i will never do business with again. Luckily i paid with paypal, still no response from Kax about my 20% refund request, i doubt they'll agree and then make it a claim. It's just a push of a button, i'm not having headaches over it anymore as i'm happy i got m...

Re: NGD - Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster - LH

Yeah that makes sense, they released mid october 2020, some waited almost a year to receive their order (i remember Mike Adams saying it was a year). This one was made in june and july of 2021, so i think you're right production starting to catch up by summer 2021-autumn 2021 and the standard access...

Re: NGD - Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster - LH

I filled in the customer protection form from PayPal asking for 20% for used guitar. Correct replacement intonation screws and pickup covers arrived. And yeah i figured that's why they went with the seal bags instead. Would've liked a pouch for the trem arm but i like the seal bag for the papers and...

Re: Worst Ever Reissue Announced

What a turd of a company to do that.

They have even less pride than the albliniz fanbois getting alu necks !

*covers guitar neck in aluminum foil* There, done.

Re: Home guitar-time setups

Any of you who own a nux mighty plug, fender mustang micro ?

I'm getting a little bit of a craving for an affordable but decent headphone amp.
None of them sound fantastic, i don't expect it, but they've come a long way and it's nice to have for practicality really.

Re: Home guitar-time setups

Stock amplitube is decent but the magic lies in the manufacturer amp packs. I've tried guitar rig and i'd like to get to know it better but i've been so used to amplitube i'm lazy and don't want to learn more different software. Still learning in fl studio producer, reaper and superior drummer, it's...

Re: Home guitar-time setups

I wish IK multimedia (amplitube) would team up with an amp manufacturer (Kemper ?!), not iRig, so you could transfer setup builds from PC/MAC to the amp. Use the amp and fx packs you got and all. I absolutely love their fender, mesa and orange packs plus all those cab, speaker, mic, routing tweaks y...

Re: NGD Inoran Jazzmaster (for fat neck fans)

Yeah i was noticing a lot of Japan listings on ebay for those Am Pro II's jazzmasters while stock in europe for them is more scarce, offsets are hot there. As for the rythm circuit, 1meg pots in lead and 500k with neck PU in rythm as it should be, it's the other way 'round on am pro II's (rythm mini...

Looks nice (even better with silly buzz stop removed !). Congrats.

"Classic Jazzmaster tones come from the superb American Vintage 65 single coil Jazzmaster pickups"

are those 'pure vintage '65' s ?

the neck is a ’59 Large C Neck profile ?

Re: NGD - Fender American Professional II Jazzmaster - LH

I won't be throwing it about but the fact it didn't arrive pristine makes me less nervous in the way i treat it, it's a solid tool and in hindsight i'm happy i got this one. That CV JM made me fall in love with how jazzmaster pickups work and the way the strings travel, the resonance. As a left...

Re: Home guitar-time setups

Which one did you go with?

I have that behringer dongle from wayyy back still.
Haven't used it in ages but might dig it up to compare.
