No response from the shop yet, they sell b stock items with pictures of the instrument itself but this one was definitely not advertised as b stock.
It did have 14% off of Fender's retail price but that came down to pretty much the same as all the other shops' pricing for them.

Happy you guys feel the same about that finish, makes me feel less anxious about actually going ahead and buying one, it's justified, dammit !

versatile, prefer the q pickups '58 ones on the cv for a more vintage surf sound and was using the kc jag for heavy distorted and fuzzed stuff etc, this one covers a lot of ground and i've been experimenting in amplitube, i enjoy playing it much more than the kc jag, neck feels great.
