the Gretsch Corvette is a thing of beauty, but there's something about PRS guitars that leave me cold. guitars for people who don't like guitars (if James Blunt was a guitar he'd be a PRS [bland]), and on a different note I can't think of any decent music made with one

I was going to upload a picture of all this stuff, but my brother in law seems to have my digital camera on long term loan: So here’s a list instead. The stuff marked with a * actually gets used. Artec big dot tuner (boring but you’ve got to stay in tune)* Maxx chorus (my all-time favourite peda...

No Tele should have a tuneomatic. Bigsby or Tele bridge. End of.

Funny you should say that I was thinking about that very thing at work today and came to the same conclusion. The tune-o-matic bridge just doesn’t look right, i’d go for a Bigsby.

i've had a look on t'internet and can only find SX acoustics, and all the other brands 3/4 size models seem to have a 22 1/2" scale lenth
which is a bit too short for me.

Ah, I only signed up the other day so I missed those treads. I just saw the pic William had posted and thought ‘I’ve seen one of those recently’

Short scale suggestions

I’m looking for a decent (and cheap) short scale guitar to generally pull apart and mod. My last one was a ‘satellite 65-t’ (I should have a pic somewhere I’ll post it if I find it) which I punted on eBay. So now I’m looking for my next victim. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Great demo, I like the turning the board over so the inputs are to right way round and the 9vdc jack ideas. But I prefer the stock (dark & heavy fuzz) sound. however this might have something to do with the crappy speakers I have to listen to stuff through at work I’ll have another listen at h...

I have a sunburst Riviera like Mike, stick it through a big muff and it’ll feedback forever (but I like that wall of sound/feedback sort of thing)

I’m really enjoying the simplicity no switches or pickup choices just adjust your tone/volume and that’s it, and it’s loud for such a lightweight guitar. Worth £220 of anybody’s money.

Just added the boss HM-2 to my guitar mangling arsenal, has anyone else had the joy of annoying the neighbours with one of these and a telecaster (instant Queens of the Stone Age or My bloody valentine depending on your mood). Nothing makes me smile like a new distortion/fuzz pedal. http://i583.phot...

Just bought myself my first new guitar in ages (a rather nice Gibson Melody maker), thought I’d show it off. And see how split your opinions on it were as it would seem you either love em or hate em http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/ss274/dezb1/melody.jpg And here’s one of my trusty highway 1 t...
