it's a bit too dark here to take proper pictures, colors look a bit different..bad lighting..but anyway http://img170.imageshack.us/img170/9721/img0494ji0.jpg you can see the hole in the pickguard underneath the knobs but there's no screw in it: http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/89/img0496dm8.jpg

speaker out ??? no way, that'll mess things up i'm sure ! *shakes head* it's a solid state top, the built in DI is xlr, i'm going to do some more research, i don't want to ruin my interface or amp or whatever, but i think it's quite alright, slowly raising the volume when you're home recording and y...

just a quick and stupid question

here's the deal: is it safe to connect the DI output of a bass head to a firewire interface to your computer, no cab hooked to the top, just to plug in to the top and hear the sound on your computer ? or will it damage the interface/computer because of the wattage ? i'm thinking it might be alright ...

tuna melt sounds great for such a loooooow price indeed, i'm very happy with it, it's small, uses a standard adapter... easy ! carl martin looks better but is more limited. some of those danos (tho they may look a bit stoopid) are wonderful, i use their pepperoni phaser too, when you're not really s...

check out the lefty section, some 'pretty ok' jags (read as :'something other than vintage white and sunburst *yawn*)

i like the jazz bass with the binding.. but the natural finish is boring.

hm.. i also have a question that i'm sure you'll know about; if a top is 300w at 4ohm and you hook it up with a cab that handles 450w at 8ohm are you going to get the full 300w out of the top or do you need two 8ohm cabs or one 4ohm for that then ?

i should know about this

it's a cool feature that you can hook it up with an external cab indeed.. but i just made up my mind (well...let's say it's a 95% thing, haha) that this year i'm going to focus a little bit more on my bass gear since i really need an upgrade..100watts ampeg blue rocket..love it, absolutely love it.....

the only thing i don't really like about it, besides the look, is the speaker size....there'll be more demos out there soon i'm sure, i don't think stores over here are going to bother having them on stock :?

yeah, you guys are prolly right about the whole line out thing, it's shit with most amps, unless they're really 'built for it' the guitars and bass on "we have no news for you" was recorded thru the m-audio + a big muff and some garageband fx, same for "sticker" so it does the jo...
