My first effects unit was a Zoom GFX-8
Image

I sold it to a friend from uni many years ago.

The first actual pedal I got was a NYC big muff.

Be sure to check the virtual battery as well

Link

It can help if you got the juice off one power supply but need to isolate only 1-2 pedals. In my rig it helps isolate boss rc-2 and ehx freeze.

It certainly has a lot of handy features in there. The main deciding factor may be the price though, what with so many similar things on the market: to compete with the likes of the Delay Lab or DD-20 it's going to have to run up against them, plus Line6 at the more affordable price point and Event...

Hell, 99$ thats a steal. Great pedal, takes a lot of tweaking to find the magic spot but the sound quality is admirable. I use it with an αJuno and its great.

Got this from denmark st. couple of weeks ago. So far I have only used it with the alpha juno. It requires some getting used to and tweaking to use it to its full extent, its a very decent pedal.

Calling for electronic experts - Altering firmware

TC Electronic Flashback x4 is a great delay/looper but its looper functionality could have been a bit better. For instance there is a one shot switch that does not retrigger the loop when you press, just makes it stop once it reaches the end. People are hoping that these issues can be taken care off...

Those shots were taken with a Canon 650D with a 50mm or 28mm lens and the moon with a 200mm tele lens. The main factor to be able to capture the stars is to be a very dark area with not bright lights nearby. Its almost impossible to take nice photos in the city unless there is no moon and the sky is...

My suggestion would be to first try to get the grasp of synth sound building using some soft synths like the many arturia has, and save to get a nice crooked vintage synth like a juno or whatever. It would be a pity to spend just 100 if you feel like a synth is something that you could inspire you t...

Astrophotography

A friend of mine got me into astrophotography before a year or so. Its really exciting how many beautiful things exist in the sky that dont really notice. A basic dslr, a good evening sky and some patience can give some nice results The sky over Kefalonia few weeks ago http://i623.photobucket.com/al...

Got the Alpha Juno 1 in the end. Sounds great and is what I was looking for keeping in mind how cheap it was. I found an iOS app called MidiDesigner that gives you the ability to build custom virtual interfaces that control MIDI functions of any device supports it. Some guy has built an interface fo...
