Played it at band practice today. First time nice and loud. Sounded great.

It's a great guitar, and I play it a lot. I have modded it a bit further though. Binding on the neck, and a nice Custom Shop 'Fender' decal on the headstock.

hmm.. i've been thinking about replacing the pickups in the Squire Mascis Jazzmaster i'm (90%) likely to get pretty soon. It'd be a shame to do that immediately after buying. They're not necessarily to everyone's idea of what a Jazzmaster sound 'should' be, but I like the pickups on mine. Replacing...

I have the 2x10 VC30. Haven't had a chance to gig it, but from what I can tell from limited use, the clean and drive channels are great. Bought an ex display model from GAK.

Barely had it a day, but couldn't resist a little tweak. Witch hats left over from the Jagmaster project to replace the stock knobs.

Well, it's arrived now.

Nicely set up out of the box. Early impressions of course, but the neck feels great. Pickups perfectly matched.

It would actually look better if both pickups had mounting rings, rather than the bridge all on its own.

Why change the decal?

Ordered one today. Bit hesitant about buying a guitar online, but the price was substantially better than buying instore.

A Google search for this guitar comes up with an Offset Guitars thread... complete with a "This site may harm your computer" warning.

Anyone reckon it'll come down in price by a fraction within a couple of months of release? Unsure whether to go for it now or wait. Can't remember whether the CVs did or not.

Also, those look like adjustable poles on the pickup there. so definitely not getting your vintage tonz on with these. probably something more similar to the classic player jazzmaster pickups.
