Re: Eq pedals
In my experience the little bit extra any Boss compact has over some cheap plastic pedal is not sounding like noise-interferencey dogshit on a pedalboard with a universal power supply. Having said that, literally none of my Boss pedals made it onto my last pedalboard, but 2 Behringers and a Dano Min...

Re: Behringer Power Overdrive PO300 + some old shortscale story telling
There's not a discussion on Behringer compacts that goes by where I don't remember Hurb knocking one knobs-first off stuff going "c'mon, break, fuckin breaaaaak..."

Re: pictures of your guitars here
IIRC the Fender version had nutserts in the body and knurled screws holding the ashtray on? No way? Maybe on some US reissue. The old bass bridge covers had foam strips though, so they weren't just covers for looks/handrests but a mute system. They probably only started doing that on the Jazz after...

Re: Cooper FX is no more. But you can get the tone cheaply
Great vid. Not really even heard of the Cooper pedal but this made me want one of those Zooms and also prompted me to bust out my bitcrusher and ringmod solutions for the evening.

DM-2 I borrowed (stole) this one from a venue we once played. It seemed it was collecting dust at the office of the fat drunk venue manager, probably forgotten by a band years ago, so I thought I would put it to good use instead. Sold it for $$$ some weeks later. I guess this doesnt count in my ââ...

DS-1 Distortion DS-2 Super Distortion CE-2 CE-3 Chorus OBD-3 Bass Overdrive Still like DS-2. CE-2 was technically my brother’s because our older cousin gave it to us when my brother was a much more accomplished guitarist with a nicer amp. I concealed the Ibanez DML10 he gave us with it though...

I bought the nicer Stewmac files, 3 double sided ones that take care of all 6 nut slots; as you say they're not cheap. They do make it an easy job though. The lighter weight type they sell might be worth a shot... a lot of people also like those multi-file tools for nutwork but I like the width and ...

My new supersonic is 40mm at the nut. Jagstang neck does not feel that small. Like at all. Too bad, it is. Proper vintage A width is 38.1mm, not 40. The JS actually measures out a hair narrower than 40. The neck profile has a lot to do with how big/small a neck feels... I thought my SG-II would be ...

1.625 is 1 5/8, the standard Fender nut width (designated B-width during the period in question). I imagine Warmoth call it vintage as a means to just evoke classic Fender spec, because plenty of people might want a suped-up Strat with a classic-yet-unFendery 1 11/16â€Â or whatever when theyââ‚...
