Re: ISO guitar rig for desk
Forgive my ignorance, but if the monitors are powered, couldn't you just run the headrush into them? I could. Just am looking to not have to reset things for different uses. I did run it through my interface last night and it sounds good. I just want something I don't have to "set up" and...

Re: Acoustic guitar recommendations
Been thinking about picking up a new acoustic. Just for playing round the house. I used to have a Yamaha F310 years ago (have no memory what I actually did with that guitar). I remember liking it at the time, so I figured I might buy another, but I am doing alright for money these days, so I though...

ISO guitar rig for desk
I should clarify, I am just looking for something I can plug my headrush into that is relatively small but will put out decent low to mid volume sound. I need to start back playing electric more and just want something I can sit in my music area that will not color the headrush alot as I will be usi...

Re: ALMOST NGD (Eastman content) NOW WITH PHOTOS!!
Nice Junior, I like it! agreed, that and the mandolin are my favs of the lot. The jumbo is likely the best acoustic guitar I have ever heard straight out of the box. When it really settles in and opens up a bit it will be pretty hard to beat. The slot head is great, especially for fingerpicking as ...

Close.... Back seat of the truck was pretty full. I think my bands guitar players may have already claimed 2 of them.plopswagon wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 3:12 pm Yeah, here’s all the stuff I picked up at the guitar store the other day.

Re: ALMOST NGD (Eastman content) NOW WITH PHOTOS!!
I should note I will not likely keep ALL of them. I will the 2 electrics most likely as I only have strat and teles so these are completely different sounds. I will end up keeping one of the 2 sunburst more than likely, but not both as I also have one of their sunburst j45s. The reddish brown GA wil...

Good news I had a fun shopping trip. Bad news is it may lead to a divorce. LOL The sunburst slot head I got a couple weeks ago.

ALMOST NGD (Eastman content) NOW WITH PHOTOS!!
So Wednesday I will be up at the Eastman warehouse in Pomona, Ca. Just got word that for the first time since covid I can actually walk that stacks of instruments there and check out the back stock selection (which I get for super cheap. Usually about 1/4-1/3 of full retail. I know I am buying one o...

Re: How good is a new guitar that costs $89.99?
saw a video on this exact guitar (same color even) and they said pretty much the same thing. Definitely could not complain at that price. I have thought about getting one to mess with myself. Throw in a prewired pickguard and upgrades and maybe take off sticker and engrave my bands logo ont he heads...

Re: NGD Eastman AC308ce SB
That looks lovely! Is the back bookmatched? It looks that way. Yep. I am pretty sure all of them are. (at least the all solid wood ones). My PCH one (laminate back/sides) is not though still a killer guitar for the money and my main stage guitar. I know my e10ss (j45 copy) is and my ac520CE is (lik...

Re: NGD Eastman SB55
Well, most people know I am an Eastman guy. I have a direct contact with them and get artist pricing. Amazing guitars. I played the prototype for this guitar at NAMM right before covid. They are amazing. I will buy one someday but havent pushed it as I know they are backordered. I do have one of the...

great discussion on the Eastman vs Gibson guitars. I had that exact les Paul model. Easily the nicest electric I have every played. Wish I didn;t have to move gear earlier in the pandemic.

Re: NGD Eastman T386
Same here. I had hears stories about Eastman Guitars from some friends but neve played one. I emailed their USA customer service contact (not knowing they were near me) just to ask about a shop that was semi local to me that carried a selection of them. All I could find was s hop that had 1, maybe 2...

Re: NGD Eastman T386
I have an artist relationship with Eastman and currently own 5 + 1 on order, but have owned more than a dozen (and the ones I no longer own are mostly with friends). You can not compare the made in china label that gets thrown around to these guitars. All hand crafted by people trained to the level ...
