I think the Sovtek has a little too much low end for my tastes but it definitely has its uses. I run a BasicAudio Triangle/Rams head clone with a mid control. Sounds really nice and full when you dial the mids back in and still has that traditional muff wall of fuzz sound. When I want to get stupid ...

Mine was an absolute piece of shit. I have played a couple more that were a lot better though. I must have just got one of the bad ones. Bridge is in no way fine though. It's not even acceptable.

All black guitars look great but yeah...that stripe isn't the prettiest I've seen.

Are those green strings? I didn't know such things existed.

A least it's a quick fix with a pickup and pickguard. I like it.

I tried to put a Jagstang neck (now owned by Fran, I think) onto a Squier Mustang body and it was too wide at the heel. I think the Squier is made to "USA spec".

I don't mean weird like "doesn't belong" I mean weird like "looks like no other binding I've seen on a Fender before".

Saw them in PMT Manchester a couple of weeks ago. The binding looks really odd on them.

I really don't like giant hollow bodies like the SC. I wouldn't mid a thinline Mustang. Based on this I would pick the Super Sonic.

Thanks man. The singer's a guy much more talented than me. We're a 5pc and i share guitar duties. We mix the lead up a bit. I do the lead and main riff on kill 2 love. Our drummer raps, and that's something we want incorporate more but not in a gimmicky way. Definitely get your drummer on the rappi...

Who's singing? Very unique sounding voice. Digging it so far mate.

Love the ambient noise type stuff on Kill to Love.

Maybe a million was a little OTT...

Really hope you enjoy it though, l love my CIJ Jazzy!
