I used an AC30 for a really long time.

Eventually I sold it, partially because I was diagnosed with scoliosis and partially because some switch flipped in my brain and I became obsessed with the sounds of old Fenders.

Sold it and bought a Princeton. I do miss the Vox now and again, though.

Are these amp sims ok to use right before a combo amp? I just wanted to try the AC Tone and/or American sound with my Pathfinder or Mustang amp. I had a Tech 21 Liverpool several years ago and didn't really know what I was doing so I tried to use it as a straight dirt pedal and it made my signal in...

I like the sounds you got at the beginning of the first video the most, but it sounded good direct too. Is it more like an overdrive, or does it get really heavy? It sounds heavy, but sometimes it's hard to tell from demos. I think they kind of picked a silly name for this, I would have expected it...

Here are the direct to interface clips. It sounds weighty, and not quite lively enough for something I'd use. I don't like it as much as the big box Joyo's I've tried. I keep my ACtone in one of my guitar cases in case something happens to my amp before a show. [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?...

you make good demos, unfortunately most people are not interested in the gear you demo. I know, I mean he hasn't done even one demo of a Les Paul through a Marshall or any tubescreamer demos. All the stuff people need more demos of... Keep doing the demos, I've never heard of a lot of the stuff you...

Sounds pretty good. I've got some of the other (larger box) Joyo amp sims and they are great for recording. They're the Tech 21 clone ones. Would be interested in hearing the DI clips. I have to say, based off the raw sound files that I have from filming the demo clips of the direct into the DI, th...

Joyo Orange Juice, cheap amp sims

Picked this up the other day. I haven't played through an Orange amp in years, but from what I recall, it's got the dark, heavy quality that they're known for.

Some direct-to-interface clips coming in a few days.

Woah, shit. I post something, go to work come home and check the thread and there's been a slight rhetorical discussion. you make good demos, unfortunately most people are not interested in the gear you demo. I don't care. Haha woah harsh. Sound great, man- I too love that small-amp-on-the-verge-of-...

That's a huge portion of why I like it. My EQD Hoof is amazing and will always be one of my favorite fuzzes, but it can get really muddy with humbuckers.

Greer Tarpit; crunchy muff

Hey guys,
I picked this up a while back and was really surprised at how crunchy the sound of it is. It's not really like any other Big Muff style fuzz I've worked with.

EB Amps Fullerton 2x10 demo/review

Hey guys,
Recently picked one of these up. Really impressed with the old school Fender-y tones it can bring.

All handwired and made in Australia.

TSE BOD bass plugin demo

My bass amp shit the bed the other week and I needed to have a couple of bass tracks done for a project. I found this little free VST and was really nicely surprised with how nice the sound was coming from a direct signal.

Re: Zvex Mastrotron Fuzz

Anyone have any experience of these? Not that I need another pedal, but these really piqued my interest as something super flexible but still remaining totally usable as a main distortion, kinda copping that Stooges/Bowie overloaded amp vibe. A friend of mine has one that he uses on bass and I borr...

I'm asking more for the live purpose, and still I agree that small wattage amp could be better for that purpose - it will be extremelly distorted, but not that loud to make listeners' ears bleeding. I gotta check different reviews of Big Muff and King of Tone That's what I'm using the Ghetto Stomp ...
