I used an AC30 for a really long time.

Eventually I sold it, partially because I was diagnosed with scoliosis and partially because some switch flipped in my brain and I became obsessed with the sounds of old Fenders.

Are these amp sims ok to use right before a combo amp? I just wanted to try the AC Tone and/or American sound with my Pathfinder or Mustang amp. I like the sounds you got at the beginning of the first video the most, but it sounded good direct too. Is it more like an overdrive, or does it get really heavy? That's a huge portion of why I like it. My EQD Hoof is amazing and will always be one of my favorite fuzzes, but it can get really muddy with humbuckers.
