I used: Jag-stang neck pickup (why do I find myself talking about this pup so much recenltly?) straight into a Marshall AVT150H, on OD Channel 1, with gain and volume all the way up. I usually have mine's plugged into a supergainey amp, but the neck cleans up something lovely with the volume rolled off on the guitar.

I love my Jag-stang, which is why I'm resisting the temptation to give it to you fer the Jazzy.

you can take a preamp out from another amp, so's you can get it's sweet tones, and then plug it into the power amp in on your amp, for the ball shaking loudness.

Was the Marshall originally a rack-mount affair that's been put into a fancy chassis then? I was wondering, because the cab looks far too classy for a Marshall.

The two and three octave below settings on my Whammy are a bit dodgy (especially the three, doesn't even produce a proper note), but one octave is fine, and can give a very convincing bass sound. I usually use the neck pickup on my tele (which is a P-90 (which helps)) with the tone rolled off a good...
